Although the pickup point is not clearly indicated at the airport terminal, it is easily found on Google maps. The checking process online is really good. I was able to check in while waiting for my bag at the carousel and by the time I got to the pick up point I had already paid for everything and just needed to pick up my key and show my drivers license. All other documents were also captured online. This is far better than any other check in process I've had. Everything was clear and the car was in excellent condition. The drop off process was also seamless. I find sixt to be well priced with a similar experience across all of them so it is my preferred option for rentals.

Sixt office was easy to find. Additional options (car upgrade, insurance upgrade etc) were proposed, but the manager was not obsessive. All the rental conditions were explained. Car pickup was completed in ~5-10 minutes. Great service, definitely recommend it.

Received absolutely fantastic service today at the Sixt from Rodrigo (we really hope we got the name right!), who was so professional, kind and helpful. Not only did he provide fantastic service but also shared very useful information on travelling in the area and places to go to. We are very impressed. We used Sixt for the first time and, to be honest, we had some doubts and fears that we might end up like some of the negative reviews we read. While reading the reviews, I realized that most people were unhappy because they didn't thoroughly research the rental conditions, which are not simple, or they had to break the rental agreement due to a third-party error. Our experience with this agency was excellent from start to finish. The shuttle van picked us up at the airport, right outside the terminal, near the big flags, and took us just a few minutes away to a small Sixt office where we quickly and efficiently completed the paperwork. Our flight was delayed, but Sixt didn't mind, and they waited for us with a smile. The girl who assisted us was cheerful, caring, and thorough. We received a brand-new Opel Corsa, which served us well during our seven-day adventure. The drop-off process was quick and efficient, and the staff member then drove us to our desired location. Everything went smoothly, without hidden costs. We were happy with the service and would use it again.

Total scam. I booked a vehicle on Bookings, upon arrival at the pick-up location I received information that the reserved vehicle was not prepared. I have a choice of one vehicle with an upgrade or another from the same category, but not really. The car available was a city car, but I chose a compact SUV and on the booking page it was written: Peuquete 2008 or another SUV. I chose the upgrade option, but (my mistake that I paid in advance) I did not visually check the car and it was much bigger. I received a recommendation from the employee to choose the bigger one. When after consulting with my girlfriend I change my decision to choose the second one, but we can no longer, because we receive information from the employee that the car is technically inoperable, so I assume that she tried to give us a previously inoperable car? From that moment, when we tried to return our first choice employee started to be malicious. When I wanted to ask if there were any other cars, because there are a lot of them in the parking lot, she replied that they were all reserved. So why is my car not reserved? She finally offers a third car but with an upgrade, when I ask if I can see which car is in which category I get the answer that she is doing me a favor and giving me a discount to make price equal to the first upgrade. I wanted to see the car so I wouldnt be confused as I was at the begining and I get the answer Sir, you dont buy a car to look around. At the same time, she kept saying throughout the conversation that I should be comfortable with the car I am driving.Additional I marked on the Bookings site that return would be in diffrent place, but was additional fee for this. Another fee for premium location. On the invocie was also position named rental days but I already paid it by Bookings so why is this on invoice and was calculated to amount from which I get discount? I rental car first time and all situation was for me very stresfull, special when employee start threaten me that she can cancel reservation if I dont want take the car which she offered me. Sixt is not company which I will use next time! One thing more I recommend check the vehicle with report damage on the pickup location together with employee. Employee probably will start saying that you can check vehicle when during return but in our case we have damage which was on the car but not in damage report.

Unfortunately I can not give ZERO stars, my experience was a complete abuse. I did my reservation with days in advance but after arriving to pick up the car they told me that the car I reserved was not available. I was happy to know (and already expecting) that I will receive a better car at the same price, so I accepted the offer and left with a smile on my face like a happy customer. A couple of days later they charged the difference (60% more than what I reserved at the beginning!) on my creditcard and received an email saying that I was the one who chose the upgrade! I wrote politely to the supervisor and other people (INCLUDING: clientes@s***, claims-es@s***, ap43469@s***, ap43469supervisor@s***,) and NO ONE replied. They ruined part of my vacations with the EXTRA 600 they charged me without my permission. I still cant believe this happen and that this is even possible. I hope people read this review before renting here.

(They had a mistake which they quickly corrected) The original invoice was good, but the next few invoices they sent with charges added for extra hours of work. Contact was difficult until the hours changed on the website.

Biggest fool ever! Only when you are promised that an employee will be on site by 2 a.m. if the flight is delayed, then you are faced with the problem at night locked doors. After waiting six hours at the airport, you are told that the flight number was not known and the car is no longer available, but you can still get a car for 40 per day. To top it off, the employee then started crying and said she wouldnt give us a car, that we would have laughed at her... I cannot recommend this company and will never use them again. I reported damage on the vehicle before leaving the forecourt and they tried to invoice me for this damage on return. Luckily I had taken a photo of the damage with a time stamp. They did the exact same thing with another party that I was travelling with. I have registered a complaint which has been completely ignored. *EDIT - I forwarded my complaint to the address they asked me to (Id already done this once) and they ignored this too.

I wish Id taken more notice of the 1 star reviews before using this company. The staff will aggressively try to get you to take the extra insurance which will basically double the price of the rental. If you dont take the extra insurance then theyll use a magnifying glass to find any tiny marks on the car to extort money from you afterwards. I barely used the car so the idea that Id caused 3 separate damages all over the car was laughable. As others have said its basically a scam they obviously do regularly to customers who refuse the extra insurance. It seems like a bizarre short-term strategy for them to target customers like this - rather than using this branch again I will avoid it at all costs.

When booking, we were informed about a deposit of 300 euros, they wanted to take 700 euros on the spot, agreed for 300 euros, but the situation itself is very unpleasant. 4. The most important minus that we are currently dealing with. This is insurance. We paid for full insurance on booking.com. At the office, we were told that we dont have insurance at all and we need to buy it, as a result we paid 390 euros. The worst experience when booking a car. We travel a lot, but we have never encountered this in any of the companies. I do not recommend it and I will tell everyone about it.
