Payed ad booking de rent en insurance when I arrived I needed to pay again de rent. Very bad way of dealing. Europcar will force you to buy their extra expensive insurance. however if you decide not to buy it, they are not friendly as they were before. get from them some documents takes more then 1 month. when you call them, they promised to send it to you, but nothing happened. No accidents paper in de car a Spanish boy hit de with a electric step behind carlight did Al what needed call de police en had a damage paper en de details of de boy en now I need to pay 1200 they don't want to help or to lissen I will take a lawyer. The car was okay.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Good price. They try to sell you a bigger car and additional insurance but if you decline, they accept. The rental station is outside the terminal, short walking distance but doable. The petrol station around the corner might not work with the wrong credit card. So you might consider refueling at one of the bigger service stations on your way back to the airport before you return the car...

I recently rented a car from Europcar. I had previously read many bad reviews about car rental companies operating at Girona Airport, which made me unsure about renting. I have rented a car from Europcar several times in the past. The whole process was always problem-free, so I chose this company again. When I arrived, all three clerks were working, and they were nice to the customers. I got my turn after barely 20 minutes of waiting. I received a larger category than the one I rented. The clerk was kind and informative, I got answers to all my questions, filling out the paperwork took just a few minutes. I left the scene satisfied, everything was fine with the car. When returning the car in the morning after one week, only the key had to be handed over. In the afternoon, I received the report about the car by e-mail. The invoice arrived the next day, and after another 2 days, the credit card was unreserved. I am completely satisfied with the clerks, the booking and the whole procedure. After the booking, the company presented to me with a 10 euro voucher for the next booking. However, I would like to draw the attention of the next car rentals to one thing. Only credit cards are accepted at the automatic gas station next to the company! Thank you Europcar, I will choose you again next time!
We rented a car through Sunnycars. We got a car at Europcar. At Sunnycars you pay for everything, so you don't have to pay anything extra. I've been doing this for years and there's never been a problem. I never get an invoice sent later. And now we got an invoice of 94 euro for coverage!? It's a big fault. And I don't get any response on my emails... We also asked for a car that would be younger than 1 year or would have less than 25,000 km on the meter. This was guaranteed, this was also on our voucher. We paid for that. But we got an older car with more on the meter. There were no other cars available they said... And we found out that no windscreen washer fluid had been filled.
Really positive car rental experience. Seamless pickup process and no wait time. Very friendly and helpful staff. Accommodated some change requests without any issue or unreasonable charges. Would recommend. Credit where credit is due
I recently hired a car through Keddy by Europcar, booked via an external system, and I am pleased to share my positive experience. The booking process was seamless, and everything was as described. The car I received was like new and very clean. Upon arrival, a lady at the counter offered me a potential upgrade and additional insurance. Since I already had insurance from the provider, I declined, and there was no pressure to purchase any extras. I returned the car during the night, and the drop-off area was very convenient for after-hours returns. By the next morning, I received an email confirmation of the return. A deposit of 800 EUR was blocked on my credit card (the credit card is required) for the duration of the rental. Since there were no issues with the car, the block was removed the day after I returned the vehicle. I am very happy with the service and would highly recommend Keddy by Europcar. I will definitely use their services again in the future.
Very very good ! Office is a gentle stroll about 200 yards away from main Terminal down to the left as you exit arrivals. It puts you straight onto the highway, without having to go into the multi storey, which we prefer. Especially on return. Staff always kind and helpful. We got a Seat Cupra this year, which was superb. Never any queues on collection or return and always a quick turnaround. Inspection on return always fair, open and honest and never had an issue. Would definitely recommend and will be returning. A good experience all round :) Gary.....
