I received a charge for scratch on the car I hired which I did not cause. The photo they provided looked like it had been altered. I could not prove I did not cause it however so had to pay. Avoid this company .
They will not wait for you if your flight delayed. I've provided my flight number so they knew it the plane has landed and still they let me down. I did asked other 3 car rentals at the airport and they said that they are waiting for they delayed customers. They did, not like Sixt. I had to get a taxi and find a hotel for me and my family in the city and back to get the car next morning. Sixt offered me a bigger car and that's all.
Car breaks down and leaves us stranded on highway. Company won't send anyone to pick us up. Stuck for 4 hours. Take our OWN TAXI after 4 hours and are told they can't come get us.
FRAUD ALERT I'm sure I'd written a great review after I initially used Sixt Vigo back in May due to the polite staff but guys pls STAY AWAY if this rental company was the cheapest there's a reason. So, I receive constant calls from someone claiming to be from Sixt Vigo about unpaid charges, asking me for bank details & when I challenged they always hang up, recently sixt have tried to take money out from my account but thankfully they recognised it as fraud and declined the transactions. It sucks that things like this have to happen when we trust our money in a company but guys pls use another company. And always record the inside and outside of your car before you drive off. They also tried to say an old mark was from me but my video showed otherwise. The cheek.

I booked a car from their Vigo airport branch and I have to give top marks for the service I received. The gent who dealt with me was excellent. He was very professional, friendly and helpful.
We hired a small car to use during our business trip, the process from start to finish was extremely unsatisfactory - grumpy staff at the desk during collection to start with. Then after returning the vehicle I was informed via email damage had occurred to the vehicle, I had been so careful with the vehicle, my manager was with me during the trip too and helped with watching any parking maneuvers too. I was extremely surprised to hear damage had occurred, which was made worse by the minimal communication with SIXT about this and the photos sent of the 'damage' required a mega zoom and can be easily mistaken for dirt. There is no phone number to call the damage department to discuss. Money was taken from my card very quickly with no chance for me to defend my case. It feels like a complete hustle, neither me or the company I work for will be using SIXT again.
The Staff were excellent, very professional. However I received a speeding fine of 62 Euros, post rental, and paid it immediately .I was charged 39 Euros from Sixt for their Administrative Costs ! This did not leave a good taste after spending almost 2,900 Euros on our rental with Sixt !!!
