BE VERY CAREFUL!!! They will go through all the trouble to send you a portfolio of photos showing the damage of the vehicle and once you return it, they will go over the vehicle with a microscope to find even the smallest little issue and then say it was your fault the car was damaged and they simply charge it to your card. They rented me a vehicle with a lot of damage already, so I did not take an hour at 12:30am to inspect every inch of the car and verify it to their photos etc. ITS A CAR....it has scratches etc. Upon return, they took a few days to inform me that there was damage. A small little scrape on one of the side mirrors. How do I know it was not damaged in their parking lot or by the next person who drove it? Absolute nonsense!
Worst customer service. Waited 75 minutes for a car. One customer service rep to serve over 15 clients. Completely unacceptable
As mentioned before don't leave the key in the dropbox, but walk to the office, otherwise this will induct "fake" damage to your car and charge your credit card. Make sure to make picture of the car before leaving the parking spot.
Wasn't a pleasant experience the prices they told were different from what they tried to charge. The damages on the car where not reported correctly but the didn't bother to take a look and correct it saying it doesn't matter if you have full coverage.
I reserved a vehicle online with agreed of 381EUR, then at the pickup they required 800EUR for signing the contract, and they had already blocked my credit card for the full amount. I refused to sign the contract, and now my account is blocked for the week. This is not acceptable, and will have legal consequences. Waste of time and inconvenience, avoid Hertz
Staff very kind and they speak English. Prices were good. They gave me a phone number to contact in case something happened or if I needed to change the time of entry of the vehicle, but for two days trying to talk to someone, no one answered the phone.
Charged me 300EUR for a nearly imperceptible scratch on a door that we never saw. We looked at this car and could not find damage, let alone 300EUR worth of damage.
The most un professional people and dis respectful. Just dont go there. Herbal experience if hetrz respect their brand name they should contact me. Shame on you Hertz for keeping such low quality and unprofessional managers and customer service. I had confirmed car booking with Hertz vigo, we got our booked car,but the car furniture was extremely dirty and the smell of the car from inside was herbal. See attached pictures When I complained about the car condition the un professional employee called Andria respond in a rude way that the car is clean and she just dond by herself. I asked her to look and smell the car,but she insisted that the car is clean and has no problem. Then told her to swap the car,she said that this is the only available car in this category, do I said fine I will pay extra for upgrade, but it should be upgraded free cause the car is not clean. Then she got crazy and called her manager, and they decided to cancel my booking and leave me with my kids in the street. I asked her to talk to her manager,she refused. I called the Hertz customer service, they refused to help and he said they cant override the manager decision. When I tried to explain, he cut the line off. I took a taxi and went to the nearst to car hiring company Enterprise ,who treated me like a human and without any racism and discrimination. I hope they post can reach the management on Hertz,so they can hire qualified customer service . Never ever will go back to Hertz and post this in all social media.
