BE VERY CAREFUL!!! They will go through all the trouble to send you a portfolio of photos showing the damage of the vehicle and once you return it, they will go over the vehicle with a microscope to find even the smallest little issue and then say it was your fault the car was damaged and they simply charge it to your card. They rented me a vehicle with a lot of damage already, so I did not take an hour at 12:30am to inspect every inch of the car and verify it to their photos etc. ITS A CAR....it has scratches etc. Upon return, they took a few days to inform me that there was damage. A small little scrape on one of the side mirrors. How do I know it was not damaged in their parking lot or by the next person who drove it? Absolute nonsense!

As mentioned before don't leave the key in the dropbox, but walk to the office, otherwise this will induct "fake" damage to your car and charge your credit card. Make sure to make picture of the car before leaving the parking spot.

Wasn't a pleasant experience the prices they told were different from what they tried to charge. The damages on the car where not reported correctly but the didn't bother to take a look and correct it saying it doesn't matter if you have full coverage.

I reserved a vehicle online with agreed of 381EUR, then at the pickup they required 800EUR for signing the contract, and they had already blocked my credit card for the full amount. I refused to sign the contract, and now my account is blocked for the week. This is not acceptable, and will have legal consequences. Waste of time and inconvenience, avoid Hertz

Staff very kind and they speak English. Prices were good. They gave me a phone number to contact in case something happened or if I needed to change the time of entry of the vehicle, but for two days trying to talk to someone, no one answered the phone.

The most un professional people and dis respectful. Just dont go there. Herbal experience if hetrz respect their brand name they should contact me. Shame on you Hertz for keeping such low quality and unprofessional managers and customer service. I had confirmed car booking with Hertz vigo, we got our booked car,but the car furniture was extremely dirty and the smell of the car from inside was herbal. See attached pictures When I complained about the car condition the un professional employee called Andria respond in a rude way that the car is clean and she just dond by herself. I asked her to look and smell the car,but she insisted that the car is clean and has no problem. Then told her to swap the car,she said that this is the only available car in this category, do I said fine I will pay extra for upgrade, but it should be upgraded free cause the car is not clean. Then she got crazy and called her manager, and they decided to cancel my booking and leave me with my kids in the street. I asked her to talk to her manager,she refused. I called the Hertz customer service, they refused to help and he said they cant override the manager decision. When I tried to explain, he cut the line off. I took a taxi and went to the nearst to car hiring company Enterprise ,who treated me like a human and without any racism and discrimination. I hope they post can reach the management on Hertz,so they can hire qualified customer service . Never ever will go back to Hertz and post this in all social media.

Pretty miserable customer service. I wouldnt be the first civil guard to ask me for my card more politely than the girl who helped me, who didnt explain anything about insurance or anything to me. Im going because my insurance leaves my car with them. But its the last time. I update. From two stars to one. The return, with the same person, was even worse than the delivery. Its horrible to be served by people who hate their jobs. I prefer a beat-up car and being cared for properly. Anymore!

Llamamos a esta oficina y la chica joven se rio en nuestra cara y nos dijo que continuasemos, que su propio coche le daba avisos constantemente y ella pasaba. Solo asistencia en carretera nos tomo en serio. Perdimos un dia de vacaciones esperando a la grua y al taxi. Al llegar al aeropuerto, en lugar de darnos otro coche le pusieron aceite al mismo sin comprobar si tenia alguna fuga y que nos apanasemos asi. La chica joven muy chulita de nuevo. Si llegais a Vigo teneis Sixt y Enterprise justo al lado, que tambien son baratos y seguro que os dan un coche en condiciones.

Renting a vehicle in July 2023 to spend a week in Galicia, first they wanted me to take out higher insurance with more coverage, the excuse was that if I went to Portugal, the one I had contracted would not cover the tow truck in case of a breakdown. The day I am going to deliver the vehicle, I go to the office inside the airport since in the outside office where I had to deliver it there was no one to pick it up. El dia que voy a entregar el vehiculo me dirijo a la oficina del interior del aeropuerto ya que en la oficina del exterior donde lo tenia que entregar no habia nadie para recogerlo, le digo al trabajador que me atiende que vengo a entregar un vehiculo que quiero que me lo revisen el cual me responde que no puede por que tiene muchos clientes esperando para la entrega de coches y estaba el solo para atenderlos a todos. Le entrego las llaves del vehiculo y me voy muy tranquilo, a la semana de haber entregado el coche recibo la devolucion de la fianza completa en mi cuenta pero para sorpresa al par de semanas veo un cargo en mi cuenta de 85 , me pongo en contacto con la oficina del rent a car en el aeropuerto y me dicen que yo habia producido un dano en el vehiculo, quedan en enviarme las fotos a mi correo pero nunca las envian, por lo que decido anular el cargo en mi cuenta, ahora un ano despues siguen reclamando el pago y me amenazan con llevarme a los tribunales,mi consejo no alquilen con ellos, dan pena.

Plus VAT. In total, they had withheld 200 euros from my credit card and they managed to make an extra business of 194.75 euros with all the expenses they came up with. Now I wonder if it is worth going back there to file a claim and take them to court. The crowd of scammers, highway robbers and criminals of all stripes does not stop growing. Even the administration copies this system in fines of smaller amounts that it is not worth it to claim. Long live theft! Long live Hertz Vigo! (this is a joke, naturally)

Cuando retiro el coche me dan una serie de puntos en la carroceria donde hay leves desperfectos y cuando lo devuelvo todo sigue igual, pero 2 horas mas tarde se inventan otro leve dano y ahi viene el beneficio de Hertz: 75 euros por repararlo, otros 50 por gestionar la reparacion y otros 54 por lucro cesante (?de verdad?, si lo vuestro es lucro incesante). Mas el IVA. Total, me habian retenido 200 euros con la tarjeta de credito y se las ingenian para que con todos los gastos que se sacan de la manga hacer un negocio extra de 194,75 euros. Ahora yo me planteo si merece la pena volver alli para presentar reclamacion y llevarlos a los juzgados. La caterva de estafadores, asaltadores de caminos y delincuentes de todo pelaje no para de crecer. Hasta la administracion copia este sistema en las multas de importe menor que no te compensa reclamar. !Viva el robo! !Viva Hertz Vigo! (esto va de cona, naturalmente)

Too bad, what a disgusting company! Al dia siguiente me envian correo y me dicen que aparecio con el parabrisas rajado.....IMPOSIBLE porque era justo a la altura de la linea del conductor y me hubiera dado cuenta. Total que me pasan una factura de 700 euros y que poco les importa que yo tenga fotos de cuando lo entregue. Poco mas y le pago el valor del coche, porque entre los 700 + 200 de franquicia me compro uno de segunda mano en bastante mejor estado.....SEGURO!!! En definitiva timadores no....lo siguiente, de verguenza a nivel dios, les da igual la hoja de reclamaciones, ellos quieren pasta y punto. NUNCA JAMAS ME VUELVEN A PILLAR, NI DE BROMA VAMOS
