Goldcar Murcia/Corvera Airport in Valladolises y Lo Jurado

Absolute joke!! Car hired 10-13th Oct. They took a deposit on hold so called of PS1400 when I hired the car which was bizarre and a first for me by any car hire company! Returned the car in perfect condition with a full tank. My credit card was then debited PS1368.22 on the 17th Oct. Various communications with customer services and they keep telling me to contact my bank as this was not a debit but the money was on hold and it should be unheld and credited back by my bank. BUT it shows as a debit and my bank say that can't do this and have got me to fill out forms to contest and investigate and refund this debit. So all in all a load of hassle caused by Goldcar and I'm yet to be refunded. So this experience has not been a good one to say the least and I will never be recommending or using Goldcar ever again. Tried communicating this afternoon with Goldcar customer services email and had a bounce back saying mailbox full, so say's it all really!!!!

Always had no real issues at Goldcar Murcia, good quality cars and professional and friendly pick-up. Just make sure you check the car over before signing as the drop off check over it to the smallest scratch.

Car was perfect in great condition and had no issues with it the staff easy to deal polite and friendly within minutes of dropping back the car we were assured no extra charges (petrol or damages) so would recommend 100% and will definitely use them again

Car was not fully cleaned upon pickup. I was late and dark so did not complain. I cleaned it at an automatic washer. Return in Almeria was good but after 3 days still do not have the fuel charge returned. It is now 5 days since returning the vehicle ( it was confirmed when I left the vehicle in Almeria that the tank was full) and have not received the deposit return. I have emailed the Goldcar customerservice confirming this and adding I have fuel receipts to send, if required

Originally booked a rental car through Wisecars and their partners OK Mobility . Had a dreadful experience on arriving at pickup and our booking had been cancelled. Went into the Goldcar office next door and the staff were wonderful in providing a rental car. In and out within 5 minutes and a lovely rental car provided. On return one week later, car returned and we were on our way within minutes. Fuel deposit against car returned reimbursed within 2 hours. Well done guys for your efficient and courteous service

We hired a low-mileage white Skoda Karoq for one week. For us British, it had a wonderful numberplate - "1001 MPH". It had a powerful engine with plenty of acceleration, but couldn't match it's numberplate! Pickup was easy as we had opted for the "Key'n Go Pack" and "Super Relax Cover". All we had to do was scan the QR code from our EMail, choose one of the cars on offer and input a credit card to cover any fuel used. As we filled up just before returning, there has been no charge. The in-built SatNav was not available, it is an extra cost. We used our mobile phone hooked up to the car via Android Auto and had SatNav for free. Upon returning the car, it was looked over by a GoldCar employee who also checked we hadn't left anything behind. All in all a non-stressful car hire, with a good low-mileage car.

Perfect experience throughout. No extra charges at pick up or drop off, which were both processed quickly with polite & professional staff. Car itself (Kia Hybrid) worked perfectly both mechanically & electronically. Pricing was the best available for the size of car & I felt we got good value for money. Would happily use Goldcar again.

Very impressed and will use again, hoping we have the same service. Staff were friendly and helpful. We hired a car from Murcia airport. Collection of car is done on a ticket system. Noted no indoor seating available. Although there was a long queue (no idea why) we were dealt with and gone to collect car within 10 minutes (assume because we had done the online check-in). I purchased a private excess insurance and they did not push theirs. FYI - Drop off location is the office near collection point (this was not made clear). Had read mixed reviews, most good, but negative being about fuel charges when dropping off. Fuel station nearby, to the north of the airport (Repsol and Cepsa). Allow time for this and Google maps then location. Car return also straight forward. We photographed the car when we collected, on their advice, and had no issues at drop off. Deposit refunded/unblocked from card within 24 hours. Thank you for a stress free, hassle free experience.
