Pleasantly surprised. Honestly, the whole process of "just take photos of any damage before driving off and show us when you get back" struck me as suspect. And the car they gave us had quite a bit of damage + was leaking a bit of oil (hence the one-star deduction), but the guy just looked at the photos when we returned and said it was all good. They never even took the deposit on our CC. Staff was very nice overall, and the online check-in process made things go quicker than your average car rental. Be aware the office is off-site of the train station (across the street), and the garage with the cars is a few blocks from there. Just booked another rental with them & hoping it's just as smooth!

Have been charged EUR280 for a scratch that we did not cause and have photographic evidence to prove it. Avoid these scammers! We had to find the car ourselves in a carpark a 10 minute walk from the office, we were given no information about the condition of the vehicle/no inspection sheet. We took some photos ourselves of a couple of scratches on the front of the car before we left the car park. On returning it, no one came to check it with us and we were not asked about any damages. Then they send me an email that night with a bill for the scratches. Now when I have emailed them with the proof that the scratch was already there, multiple times, they are completely ignoring me! Unfortunately there was not time to go back to the office in person before the end of our holiday but there is no excuse for ignoring multiple emails sent to the address provided on their website. I will be pursuing this further to get back my money back and reporting them to the relevant authorities. In the meantime I would advise all other customers to run a mile and choose a better car hire company.

Rented 6 days and price was not bad (included insurance and everything) The stuff was kind and also they speak English if you don't speak Spanish. Only one thing is that,the car is in the underground parking which you have to walk 5 minutes or so which isn't bad it's close but in the parking there's no internet connection... even car navigation and Bluetooth can't use anything. If your travelers or who doesn't know around here could be difficult cuz you have to get out first and park somewhere then use your phone or navigation.

When we arrived at Joaquin Sorollas office, we were greeted by a girl who looked stressed from the start. He told us that the car we had chosen was not there but that there was a silimiar one, we told him yes or if we needed the trunk with good space and he told us that nothing was happening, trusting his word we said ok. We had some differences to reach an agreement so from there we came out somewhat dissatisfied. When we got to the car we saw that it was not what he told us, We noticed that it was very dirty inside and out... of course in a garage with little light it couldnt be seen. When I opened the back door there were remains of food, papers, dirt... everything was dirty on the outside, the windows, the front part full of bugs... they didnt even make an effort to give it water. They had already told us not to rent here... now we can say for ourselves that they were not wrong.

Nos dice que el coche que habiamos elegido no estaba pero que habia uno silimiar, le dijimos que si o si necesitabamos el maletero con buen espacio y nos dijo que no pasaba nada, confiando en su palabra dijimos okey. Tuvimos unas diferencias para ponernos de acuerdo asi que de ahi salimos algo desconformes. Al llegar al coche vimos que no era lo que nos dijo, notamos que estaba muy sucio por dentro y por fuera.. claro en una cochera con poca luz no se veia. Al abrir la puerta trasera habia restos de comida, papeles, mugre.. por fuera todo sucio, los vidrios, la parte delantera llena de bichos.. ni siquiera se esforzaron en darle con agua. Ya nos habian dicho de no alquilar por aqui.. ahora podemos decir por cuenta propia que no se equivocaban.

You rent the car online and then you arrive to join the express line and you have more than 30 minutes waiting for your car Update: the system had gone down 2 hours waiting for the car and then they didnt give you any kind of apology or compensation... more than I asked for child seats that didnt come installed, they just threw them into the car, then the car wasnt there clean. Nobody tells you about the delivery as it should be, I call the call center and they treat you as if you were stupid and they comment that they never had a system outage today, which they told us was nationwide. Terrible treatment, I would not recommend or rent here again

Very bad experience, especially compared to other car rental companies. They offered me by email to check in online to avoid waiting, etc. To do this, you scan all your documents: ID and drivers license. Everything great. Before the pick-up day, I call to see if they can provide me with the vehicles registration number so I can send it to the workplace where I had to go, which has restricted access. They tell me that they cant know, so far I agree, but the treatment received was quite unfriendly. Also making me dizzy, since it was a van it wouldnt be delivered to Joaquin Sorolla, and I was very surprised, if I made the reservation at that office! In the end the delivery did go there but I took the substitute with me. The day of picking up the vehicle I had everything scheduled so that I was right on time. I show up at the office, they take a while to open, maybe ten minutes, and they ask me for my documentation. I didnt have it on me physically, but I did have it on my cell phone. I tell them that I have already checked in online and that I received by email that nothing else was needed. The girl treated me like a liar, telling me to show her the email and so I did. Even after having shown him the text, he insisted on treating me as if I were crazy, with zero empathy. So I had to go back home to get the cards to scan them again. This made me very angry because I was already dragging all day that delay time that I didnt have. Taking advantage of the time waiting for the delivery, the girl did not hesitate to make several judicious comments about the customers, whether people used the vehicles to do things that were not normal, whether there were people sleeping in the cars, etc. And of course they realized why they are not stupid... with an air of superiority that I didnt like at all. When an hour later I managed to complete the pick-up procedure, he told me that I had to go to a garage located 15 minutes away on foot and gave me a flyer with the address of the garage and the handwritten vehicle registration number. The garage is a mess, the spaces are in the last basement, in the last hallway, super strangely structured and no one there to lend a hand. I used this flyer to memorize the vehicle in my telpark application because I needed to park in the blue zone. It turns out that the license plate was written wrong and, even though I put in the corresponding ticket, they fined me because the actual license plate did not match (my fault for trusting a worker that I already identified as a regulator and not checking the physical license plate). The van itself ran great and was clean and full of fuel. On the day of the return, I arrive at the office and find a sign on the door saying Ill be back in ten minutes and a line of people like a couple of families and another single person. I decide to sit down for breakfast at the bar next door, from whose terrace you can perfectly see the office about five or ten meters away. Well, surprise! It didnt take ten minutes but much longer. My surprise does not cease when the other day they told me that they were going to charge me 50 for fine management. But what a nose! In short, I neither repeat nor recommend it.

Me ofrecieron por mail hacer un check in on line para evitar luego esperas, etc. Para ello escaneas todos tus documentos: DNI y carnet de conducir. Todo genial. Antes del dia de recogida llamo para ver si me pueden facilitar la matricula del vehiculo para pasarla al lugar de trabajo donde me tenia que dirigir, que es de acceso restringido. Me dicen que no pueden saberlo, hasta ahi conforme, pero el trato recibido fue bastante antipatico. Ademas mareandome, que como era una furgoneta no seria en Joaquin Sorolla la entrega, y yo extranadisima, si la reserva la he hecho en esa oficina! Al final si que fue alli la entrega pero el sustito me lo lleve. El dia de recoger el vehiculo tenia todo programado de manera que iba justa de tiempo. Me presento en la oficina, tardan un poco en abrir, sus diez minutillos seguro, y me piden la documentacion. No la llevaba encima fisicamente pero si en el movil. Les digo que ya he realizado el check in on line y que recibi por mail que NO hacia falta nada mas. La chica me trato de mentirosa diciendome que le ensenase dicho mail y asi lo hice. Aun tras haberle ensenado el texto insistio en tratarme como si estuviese loca, cero empatia. Total que me toco volver a mi casa a por los carnets para volver a escanearlos. Esto me enfado muchisimo porque ya fui todo el dia arrastrando ese tiempo de retraso que no tenia. Aprovechando el rato de espera para la entrega la chica no dudo en hacer varios comentarios juiciosos sobre los clientes, que si la gente usaba los vehiculos para hacer cosas que no eran normales, que si habia gente que duerme en los coches, etc. y que ellos por supuesto que se daban cuenta por que tontos no son... con unos aires de superioridad que no me gustaron nada. Cuando ya una hora despues consegui cerrar el tramite de recogida, me dice que me tengo que desplazar a un garaje situado a 15 min andando y me entrega un flyer con la direccion del garaje y la matricula del vehiculo manuscrita. El garaje un lio de narices, las plazas estan en el ultimo sotano, en el ultimo pasillo, super raro estructurado y nadie por alli para echar una mano. Utilice dicho flyer para memorizar el vehiculo en mi aplicacion telpark pues necesitaba aparcar en zona azul. Resulta que estaba la matricula mal escrita y, aun cuando yo puse el ticket correspondiente, me multaron porque no coincidia la matricula real (culpa mia por fiarme de una trabajadora que ya identifique como regulera y no comprobar la matricula fisica). La furgoneta en si funcionaba muy bien y estaba limpia y llena de combustible. El dia de la devolucion llego a la oficina y me encuentro un cartel en la puerta de vuelvo en diez minutos y una cola de gente como de un par de familias y otra persona sola. Decido sentarme a desayunar en el bar de al lado desde cuya terraza puedes ver perfectamente la oficina a unos cinco o diez metros. Pues, sorpresa! no tardaron diez minutos sino bastante mas. Mi sorpresa no cesa cuando el otro dia me comunican que me van a cobrar 50 en concepto de gestion de multa. Pero que morro! En fin, yo ni repito ni lo recomiendo.

Instantes despues me llega la notificacion al banco de que me han devuelto la fianza. Solo han tardado cinco meses y porque fui a reclamar, asi que fijaros bien que os la devuelven y sobretodo, verlo reflejado en el banco.
