We had a mixed experience with our rental. The agent we dealt with, Chiama, was wonderful. She upgreaded us and suggested both the pre-fueling option and additional driver. We took both. The car, a Citroen C5, behaved admirably. After our return, we received a second bill charging us for refueling the tank and for the gas itself. Also charging an additional month for the additional driver, instead of the extra days. When we brought the matter to Sixt's attention, they initially stonewalled us, telling us both these charges were legitimate. We had to pursue them more than a few times, and finally filed a dispute with our credit card. We then received an email advising they had made a mistake and refunding the refulling charges. The refused to change the additional driver charge. After an additional complaint, they agreed to refund the additional driver charge. It was quite annoying to have to go through these steps when all of this could have been avoided. That said, I would use Sixt again.
Car engine light came on and had to pay for an upgrade to continue our vacation - took 2 days to get tbe new car and sent to two different cities. Wasted 2 whole days of our time in France. 0/10 do not recommend. Terrible service.

I highly recommend this Sixt office. The staff was super friendly, they took the time to explain everything, no hidden fees or anything weird. Also the car was in very good conditions. I spent quite an amount of time reading through all the reviews from other companies before making my decision, and by far, Sixt has the best feedback in the market. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a little more to have a guaranteed optimal experience. And again, the staff made everything much easer. From the front desk (thanks Bruna!) to the guy who deliver and received the car (I forgot the name, but thanks!)
We have a reservation at 7:30am when the store should open but nobody is here. It's already 9am. Three families are waiting outside of the store. Turns out there was a staff on morning shift overslept... The store manager came and she calmly and politely handled customers' dispute. She also gave us an upgrade of the rental car. Finally when we returned the car she apologized again and gave us discounts on the final bill. As the owner mentioned, sometimes there is mistake, but the way they handled it was very polite and professional. We rent with them again (actually this was my second rental, our first rental was very smooth)
First all was good. Fast register and car rental, BUT when I received a notification that I had a fine with the french police I noticed that the Sixt employee did a mistake capturing my address. When answering emails to Sixt they told me I gave this address when filling out documents at the branch. I never filled out anything by hand, the employee registered me. Why geing untruthfull Sixt?So, my fine will be sent now to a wrong address and not getting paid ... and then what happens?
