I was charged for an additional day of car hire despite returning the car early. Despite having requested that this be revised a few days ago, I have heard nothing back from customer service. Furthermore, I would like to bring to your attention an issue we encountered during the vehicle return at the Bordeaux train station. The directions to the rental return area were extremely unclear, and as a result, my companions and I spent a considerable amount of time trying to locate it. This caused significant stress, and we nearly missed our train due to the confusion. I would strongly urge you to improve the clarity of the return instructions for future customers.

Had a great experience. This is my 2nd time renting here. The staff were friendly and efficient. Initially, upgrades and additional insurance were proposed, but when I said I don't need them, they didn't push any further. I opted for an automatic compact and received a very nice Toyota corolla. The fuel mileage was great (4.7 liters per 100km). Finally, the return of the car was quite smooth too. The guy (if I remember it was "Walham", sorry for the spelling) was great. Quick and helpful. There were some previous damages that were not recorded on sheet. But, we had already taken photos and sent it to Europcar. So, just remember to take 10-15 mins in the beginning to take photos of the car from all sides :)

From the lovely Ishka and others at Toulouse Matabieu to the great staff atToulouse Airport, you couldn't fault the helpful, courteous staff at Europcar. I would have preferred a car with it's own GPS rather than rely on my phone and Android Auto which is at best, adequate. The Rav4 we were given was a great vehicle and even though it wasn't all that clean when we got it, it served us well for 50 days. Thank you, Europcar

The attendant recorded the time we returned the hire car incorrectly. This resulted in an additonal day of car hire and car insurance being charged. This was held from our security bond paid. Despite submitting evidence to Europcar of when we returned the car, which was before the contracted time, they have not refunded our money. They have also tried to palm the issue off to the booking agent, however, the booking agent is not the one who took our bond, or issued our final invoice, so they can not resolve it. We have requested phone calls, not been called. We have had silly replies to our emails which make no sense. They have not refunded our money and charged us for a fictitious and therefore fraudulent day of car hire. We have requested they submit to us evidence of late return, which they cannot prove and we have submitted to them evidence of early return of which we have receipts and google time lines for our return trip home. It is ridiculous we can not talk to a person and caused us stress on our holiday not having those funds available. It has also cost fees as the charges took our creditcard over its limit. The next step is a police report. How many other people have been fraudulently charged for extra days because someone has entered the car return time incorrectly? If a genuine mistake, they would have apologised and refunded our money. They provided the car to us without fuel and told us to return without fuel. We believe they probably filled up the car and then returned it in when they had done that job. However that is not our problem and noted on the invoice they gave us an empty car!

Absolutely horrible! We rented a car in Toulouse Train Station for 1 day on April 4th. We just used the car for a day trip from 1:15 pm (time the car was ready and then dropped it off at 8:30 p.m of the Same day, left the key in the EuropCar box as per EMPLOYEE INSTRUCTIONS. The initial rental price was 104.48EUR Now I'm being charged 304.48EUR because they're saying the car was returned a day after, when I wasn't even in Toulouse a day after... I've been trying to call customer service for Days, no one takes responsibility for this. An employee answers and tells me they're gonna refund me today and to my surprise I Have ANOTHER Charge of 104.48EUR. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, CAN'T PUT A CLAIM THROUGH THE WEBSITE. DON'T RENT HERE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET YOUR MONEY ROBBED! Edit: To the response of Europ Car to send a claim to the link they're providing, I've been trying to do that for the past 4 days. It doesn't work says there's technical issues. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR POOR SERVICE...

Extremely friendly staff. I was with my little kitten and the sellers are cat fans! The salesman who took care of me made sure that I didnt have to submit an expense report for my professional expenses and even filled my water bottle before leaving. Be careful, however, to take a little space to return to the parking lot if you have a train. In fact, the parking lot was full (except for rental companies) and therefore jammed at the entrance. Very complicated access this Tuesday to the Matabiau car park. Perhaps provide specific access for rental companies? Happy with Europcar!

Very bad experience: reservation confirmed at the Europcar Toulouse Matabiau agency for a quote of 158.87, from Saturday October 12, 5 p.m. to Monday October 14 in the evening; due to a delay in the train arriving in Toulouse after the agency closed at 6 p.m. on Saturday, I waited until 1 p.m. on Sunday to collect my vehicle with the surprise of being billed 186.36 which I unfortunately settled, taken by surprise due to a lack of other cars available on a Sunday from other rental companies based at the station and despite having taken the trouble to notify the Europcar reservation center of this delay the day before. Like a previous customer, and this is what motivated my opinion, when I arrived, someone told me that the car was brand new and that there was no damage. I also trusted and took the car without taking photos. Wrongly, because during the return, the same employee tells me that I scratched the underside of the passenger side mirror and that she must make a report. I would like to point out that the car only drove on the highway and was only parked during the stay in the enclosed courtyard of a house without the possibility of being hit by another vehicle or other object. This scratch noted when returning the vehicle is located on the lower part of the rearview mirror, it is invisible unless you lean over to see it. A photo at the time of pick-up would not have allowed this scratch to be seen. I mentioned this during the restitution but the report was maintained on the grounds that it did not pass for a new car (more than 5000 km on the odometer, all the same). I have just received the invoice for this damage: 230 withheld from the deposit. I did not cause this damage which can only be caused when the mirrors unfold, i.e. while driving. Like the previous customer, I advise you to be careful when renting here, always check the car and take photos!! From bottom to top... around twenty photos for example!!!! I pay the 230 with great bitterness. This is the last time I rent with Europcar.

Comme une precedente cliente, et c est ce qui a motive mon avis, a mon arrivee, une personne m a dit que la voiture etait toute neuve et quil ny avait aucun dommage. J ai egalement fait confiance et j ai pris la voiture sans prendre de photos. A tort, car lors de la restitution, la meme employee m indique que j ai raye le dessous du retroviseur cote passager et qu elle doit faire un rapport. Je precise que la voiture a fait uniquement de l autoroute et a ete uniquement stationnee lors du sejour dans la cour fermee d une maison sans possibilite d etre touchee par une autre vehicule ou autre objet. Cette rayure constatee lors de la restitution du vehicule est situee sur la partie inferieure du retroviseur, elle est invisible sauf a se pencher pour la voir. Une photo lors de la prise en charge n aurait pas permis de voir cette rayure. J ai mentionne cela lors de la restitution mais le rapport a ete maintenu au motif que ca ne passait pas pour une voiture neuve (plus de 5000 km au compteur, tout de meme). Je viens de recevoir la facture pour ce dommage : 230 retenus sur la caution. Je n ai pas cause ce dommage qui ne peut etre cause que lorsque les retroviseurs se deplient, soit en conduisant. Comme la precedente cliente, je vous conseille d etre prudent en louant ici , verifiez toujours la voiture et prenez des photos !! De bas en haut une vingtaine de photos par exemple !!!! Je paye les 230 avec beaucoup d amertume. C est la derniere fois que je loue avec Europcar.
