I am writing this opinion to inform you about the uncivil behavior you may encounter from the owner of the rental company, Mr. Ryszard, and to protect yourself from being charged additional costs. The rented car was delivered to the indicated accommodation address and picked up from there by the owner. When renting the car, I signed a rental agreement and paid in cash for the weekly rental and a deposit, which was to be returned when I returned the car. Mr. Ryszard, who provided us with the car, did not write down a report when handing over and returning the car. I didnt think about it myself either. When returning the car, I informed about the damaged phone holder and told him to deduct the amount for a new holder from the deposit. Mr. Ryszard confirmed that the cost was EUR 100 and that I would send an invoice confirming the amount, as it had already broken down for another customer, and that he would return the deposit the next day during the transfer to the airport. The next day, Mr. Ryszard, insulting me, informed me about the scratches on the car, which were allegedly caused by my fault. Here is a quote from Mr. Ryszards message: Hello. I will take you to the airport another person because I dont have one willingness to contact more with you. Navy blue Citroen C4. I should still enforce a different amount for a different damage but ok, we are settled. Saddle to the phone + cheap transfer to airport (150 euros). Apart from that trusting your assurances no I checked the car thoroughly (it was also dirty and I couldnt notice this). We used the car rental service (new Dacia Sandero) at the turn of April and May. We received the car in impeccable condition and cleanliness.
