The man behind the desk is . I got no email confirmation of this reservation, he would not print out a receipt for me, said everything had to happen through customer service, but he did take my money without returning it because I didn't want to go through with the reservation. You know why? Because I didn't want to lose more than my 52EUR of deposit money. AVOID!
Really bad rental organisation. We parked according to the terms our car at the hotel, which was still standing there after a few days. We asked reception of our hotel to pick up the car so we already had to give an effort which should be responsible by Europcar themselves. They knew we would park it at the hotel for EUR18 per day. Fact is that Europcar had our creditcard number and just stole our money, they are ridiculous thieves and very bad in communication. So please be aware of this and never rent your car here, because at the end you will be scammed!!

After everything was said to be great when I dropped off the car, two days later I received an invoice from Europcar for damage that was supposedly from us - but it 100% wasn't! We had several pictures of the car (also from a lot of scratches that weren't noted in the report at the beginning). The guy at the office said he was just doing his job documenting it (but he obviously has failed a lot if times before with all the other scratches that weren't noted properly). He said well we should have taken out the fully comprehensive insurance and he reject to undo the invoice. Never again!
Bad customer service. Car was incredibly dirty. Despite having booked and paid online, they tried to sell a few more add-ons. When declining, they asked their colleague to bring a very specific car (not a specific car model, just THAT specific car). When returning the car, the guy asked if I had taken any pictures/video (before starting to review the car). When said I hadn't, he immediately walked over to a specific wheel and pointed out there was some damage that was not reported - we had no incident whatsoever during the trip. Very suspicious indeed. Will not be renting here again.
Alberto in the office explained everything perfectly and was very friendly and relaxed. There were no surprises or uncomfortable upselling but we did take the better auto car with sat nav we wanted for little extra. Car was great and all.went perfectly.

Alberto was fantastic! Having booked online, it took around 5 minutes to receive the keys. Make sure you have your passport, drivers license and CREDIT card in YOUR NAME. They can't accept debit card for the EUR500 hold deposit (they don't take any money, just reserve it). I drove away no issues for 5 days, returned the car emptied of rubbish etc. Handed the keys back and all was okay. Note: opening times on Google here are incorrect.. they are open Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00. Outside these hours for pick up or drop off are classed as "out of hours" and require an additional cost. I have requested to google to update these.
