Unprofessional and fraudulent, we paid reservation and insurance through booking to come pick up the car and then they claim that we have to pay another 200 e for rent or a deposit of 1000 euros for damage. The employee is rude and nervous. I'm only sorry that we didn't look at the reviews earlier because this situation repeats itself constantly.

After 2 bad experiences with car rental companies, I was skeptical and worried about using a rental company I wasn't familiar with and one that wasn't in terminal but I am so pleased I did. Wiber Alicante are excellent and very informative. They answered all mine and my boyfriend's questions, explained the fees and were really friendly. Their transport to and from the airport runs very smoothly. Hector was amazing when we did drop the car back off. Car we had was perfect and clean. Would definitely use again!!

Everything went fine. Transfer picked us at the airport in 5mins (It is not a big problem that they are not directly at Alicante airport). Always take full insurance so you don't need to worry about scratches (high level of stress in Spain).

I rented a car for just one day. They handed over a paper with only 2 damages on the car. Before seeing the car we had to sign. So we did. Afterwards you can make photo's yourself and send them trough the application what cost a HELL LOT OF A TIME. But ya. The pictures are speaking itself. 2 damages? It costs me 45minutes to just make these. At least I know a bit about cars so I see the damages. Good luck renting here. By the way, everything went well woth delivery, because of all the pictures and 45 minutes investing in the work they should have done before. Please everybody see my pictures. 2 damages.... Need to sign before seeing the car... yeah..

Update, it's better. Last time we rented the damage to the car was better documented. And no nasty surprises when returning in both Mallorca and Alicante. Original review below. Beware They do not document damage to your car. Then on return will find a mark and charge you for it like a lot of other reviews have mentioned here. We hired a car the contract showed just 3 scratches, but there was not a single panel on the car that didn't have damage. I made a video and took photos and had proof that I had not damaged the car. If I had not they would have tried to charge me as they went over the car with a fine tooth comb pointing out little marks. None of which were on the rental papers. Attached are some pics of the dents that were not included in the agreement.

They are insurance scammers. When you rent with them and do not contract vehicle insurance with them, they take out damages so that other companies can fix their fleet. In my case, I had previously contracted external insurance that covered every day of the vehicle rental. When I went to pick up the vehicle, I notified them of this, because their insistence on taking out other insurance with them was quite overwhelming. When I delivered the vehicle, as expected, they found damages that, in order to deduct the 1,100, from the affected area, which in this case included rear bumper which, to our surprise, was already noted as previous damages, but according to them There was a new scratch, I failed to think that since it was pointed out, I didnt pay much attention to those damages, multiple scratches and bumps in that area. So they directly discounted the entire bumper. I sincerely believe that I am not going to be the last person who is going to pay them to fix the damage to their vehicles. with previous damage. P.S. The mirrors, ceiling, and handles also had defects that were not noted. In case they claim it from you for carrying a company other than your insurance.

En mi caso, ya habia contratado con un seguro externo previamente que cubria todos los dias del alquiler del vehiculo. Cuando fui a recoger el vehiculo,les notifique de esto, porque su insistencia para coger si o si otro seguro con ellos, fue bastante abrumadora. Cuando entregue el vehiculo, como era de esperar, me sacaron danos que para descontarme de los 1.100 , de la zona afectada,que en este caso ponia parachoques trasero que para nuestra sorpresa ,ya estaba apuntado como danos anteriores, pero segun ellos habia una rayita nueva , fallo de pensar que como estaba apuntado , no me fije mucho en esos desperfectos, multiples aranazos y golpes en esa zona. Total que me descuentan directamente todo el parachoques. Creo sinceramente que no voy a ser la ultima persona que les va a pagar el arreglo de los desperfectos en sus vehiculos con danos anteriores. P.D. los espejos, techo, manillas tambien estaban con desperfectos que no estaban apuntados. Por si os lo reclaman por llevar una compania ajena del seguro suyo.

Very bad experience with rental. We had rented the car for 3 days with insurance that the agency made different from theirs. When picking up they pressured us to take the all-inclusive package from their agency. I kindly indicated that they had already made me safe. In a very rough way they told me where the car was and gave me a list of damages to the vehicle, so if I saw any more I should take photos. Well, I found many more that I photographed. In the list of damages, there were rear bumpers, it had many marks... When delivering the car they tell me that there is a new brand that they do not have registered and they directly charge me 270 to paint the bumper. I show my disagreement, things that dont matter to them, they get in the car and take it to park... I AM CLEAR, THEY ARE SCAMMERS. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE

Very bad service during checkout, they told me theres smoke smell in the car and its not allowed, while no one told me about that during checkin and theres no sign in the car saying smoking is forbidden... they charged me 50 from that (taken from the fuel deposit) and when i told them you can take it but ill give a bad review for the agency, the employee was like do whatever you want

When we go to pick up a reservation, they explain to us that my husband is blocked as a client, and they cannot give us any further explanations. We found out by phone that in the previous reservation, with unlimited kms, they considered that abusive use was made, for renting a car for 5 days to go to Seville, leaving the car parked, and returning to Alicante. A shame, then Rentacar leaves us stranded and offers us no solution. Regrettable. With a consumer claim, of course.
