DO NOT USE!!!! They tried to put a $16,500 USD hold on my credit card. When I said that s impossible, they refused to rent to me and now are charging me $300 for a car I never had access to. Don't get scammed like me

Disgrace to rental industry and daylight robbery in booking with fox. Booked a car with insurance with Expedia and they did not honor it. They quoted insurance ten times the car rental price....highly disgraceful. Stay away from them.

Stay away from them, awful service and crazy insurance rates, non professional, I walked away from them , I went to another vendor next to it and were wonderful, I got a 2023 Kia clean with low mileage and the insurance rates were reasonable, staff were so professional a difference in between heaven and hell, if there were an option of 0 stars I would give that to Fox worst company ever.

They get you with high cost car insurance. They were charging me $65 per day alone for car insurance. Go outside the airport for car rental, It's way cheaper. Use taxi at the airport, its cheaper and safer. There is a ticket window for your taxi ride next to the rental agencies offices.

This company is as corrupt as one may believe it to be in Mexico. The man at the desk google translated his thoughts which was pretty funny because the translator was so very off. My family was tired from our flight and we looked forward to getting into our car for the week. My young children and I stood in the rain being bitten by dozens of mosquitoes while my husband argued with the man about the price because we had booked through travelocity for one price which they did not honor and decided to multiply by five. Well, we are not rich people, we walked from there in the rain with our luggage and our hungry and thirsty and tired kids in tow. Not a nice start to our one week vacation. Stay clear from this company unless you have wealth. We were still charged the car insurance price. We tried to refute it with our credit card company, but to no avail. An expensive lesson. Too bad we had to pay for the bad experience!

We had a great experience dealing with Daniel. They do a fantastic job cleaning every car. Even tire shine. I recommend getting the full insurance as people drive around very recklessly plus the roads are full of pot holes and huge speed bumps. The offer a free shuttle bus to and from the airport.

They are so corrupt! They charged me a ridiculos amount of money because I did not have a Credit Card phisically with me! I tried to give them all the information of the card but they still did not accept it. I did NOT have any other choice but to pay them the crazy amount of money and then they gave me a car wothout a plate, wheel covers and with the gas tank almost empty (of course when I returned I could not leave the gas that way and I left it with more of half-tank full). Never rent a car with them!

Good but i guess it depends who is behind the counter. My first rental was in january, i was fully paid over expedia but when i wanted to pickup the car i had to pay an extra insurance of about 150EUR. This time i rented at thrifty and they tried to scam me, so i came back to Mex Rentals and he gave me a car to a very good price! (160EUR for 7 days with insurance and illimited KM) Both rentals were clean and good working cars.

I booked the car via third party web page in USA because I saw that it was super cheap and when I arrived to the Guadalajara Airport, I didnt find their office and I called to customer service and they explained that I had to look for the Europcar office inside the airport, I went there and they took me and my family to the Europcar office that is outside of the airport but which is near by. There they wanted me to put around a 16,000 USD hold on my credit card in order to get the rented car, also they wanted me to cancel the car insurance I had got externally, of course I declined to do that and after that, some of the employees there offered cheaper options to me applying some ouside-of-the-company booking. I cannot understand how this company is still operating after all the negative reviews they have. My recommendation is to stay away from this company and go to better alternatives (e.g. Hertz which has always worked for me).

To begin with, everything is false advertising, I booked a small car for which I would only pay 8 dollars a day, I must clarify that it said that from the start it was already insured for 750 thousand pesos, when I got there, I had to pay almost 480 dollars for 2 days already including the payment of another supposed insurance for damages to third parties, so I asked him why the car was already insured for 750 thousand pesos, to which he responded that EXPEDIA is lying, apart from paying his Sure, I clarified that it was a second insurance, I had to leave 1,600 dollars as a guarantee that would cover the deductible in case I had an accident, which would be in total about 2,100 dollars, which I refused and since I hadnt even given them my credit card. They were aggressive, I had no choice but to return to the airport and take a taxi to the headquarters and I only paid 800 pesos to get to my final destination, definitely go, they are a DISGUST!!! Para empezar todo es publicidad enganosa, reserve un auto pequeno por el cual solo pagaria 8 dolares al dia, debo aclarar que decia que de entrada ya estaba asegurado por 750 mil pesos, al llegar ahi, debia de pagar casi 480 dolares por 2 dias ya incluyendo el pago de otro supuesto seguro por danos a terceros, entonces le pregunte que para q si el carro ya estaba asegurado por 750 mil pesos, a lo q me respondio q EXPEDIA miente, aparte de pagar su seguro, aclaro q era un segundo seguro, tenia q dejar 1600 dolares en garantia que cubriria el deducible por si me accidentaba, a lo cualseria en total cerca de 2100 dolares a lo cual me negue y como ni mi tarjeta de credito les habia dado se pusieron agresivos no me quedo otra mas que regresarme al aeropuerto e irme en taxi a la central y solo pague 800 pesos para llegar a mi destino final, definitivamente bo vayan son un ASCO!!! This past February 16, I had a rental contract w92840 and the truth is I will not rent with you again, they gave me a car full of problems, the drivers window did not go up almost all the time. On the way the air came in very uncomfortable, then I lost 4 hours because the unit didnt want to turn on and I called the office and they couldnt do anything, they gave me an assistance number and they told me that it didnt exist, then I had to call a mobile mechanic to get it. They did something that didnt cover any of the expenses. Thats unacceptable. They should stop renting cars or check it before handing them over. They still havent returned my $419 deposit. I would like to know if there is an office or agency that protects the consumer. so that they fine or veto this company so that they regulate properly.

If I could give it 0 stars I would give it this place is very dishonest. We made a reservation with a cost of 490 dollars which said that it already included charges and taxes.... When we arrived at this agency they came out with it being more almost triple with the insurance that they offer... We had already bought one with Expedia at the time of making the reservation for 209 dollars but they came out with that insurance did not work and I dont know what else and by force we had to take what they offer. For 490 dollars we booked it with Expedia and they made us pay $1,300 dollars for the reservation price. They dont respect it, they charge what they want and they dont give any paper where it says how much each thing was. Well, they told us that everything worked well and it didnt. The radio didnt work.... In the end that rent was exaggeratedly expensive .... It happened to us only once with this experience we had, we will never rent with them again 0% recommended, do not approach them, they do not respect the reservation price, they charge What they want, they take advantage of people....

Terrible service. They do not accept any insurance other than theirs. The system duplicates transactions and it is impossible to contact someone to solve the problem. I had to go to the aweroport office just to be told that they couldnt do anything. Do NOT rent from them!!

Terrible service, they never have the car you reserve, they do not respect the price with which you reserved it. They also do not want to validate the collision insurance you purchase, nor the third party damage insurance, which most credit cards give you for free. Their cars are in terrible condition.
