Rent A Car Anthon in Tias

We organised a two day car hire through Rent A Car Anthon and everything was very straightforward. We were staying in Puerto Del Carmen and popped into their office to book the day before we needed the car. They allowed us to nominate two drivers by providing our UK licences and the main driver had to sign the form. No deposit was required and we paid for and collected the car at a time of our choosing on the relevant day. It was possible to return the car out with office hours and this meant we could make the most of our trips round the island. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A great experience overall.

Rented a Renault Captur and it was immaculate and very reasonably priced for the day. I rented a car via Freddie at Omnicars. The price is exactly as quoted, everything included, no hidden costs. Had an issue with the battery going dead and a lovely lady sorted us out with another car the next day, delivered directly to our villa. Fantastic service. Would highly recommend.

What a refreshing change to the big hire companies. These were first class and we booked these through Freddie at Omnicars. We were heading out for the day on a tour of the island for my wifes 60th birthday but we had the unfortunate situation where the garage attendant where we were filling up with diesel, put petrol in by mistake and we only realised when we had drove off that something was very wrong. We went back to the garage and the attendant denied he had and he had not given us a receipt. We called Anthon and the lady told me to hand the phone to the garage attendant...within 30 seconds he had handed the phone back to me and the lady said he had admitted he had put the wrong fuel in. Within 15 minutes the Anthon team were there with a replacement car (although not as nice as the first one) for us to use and they went to deal with the attendant while we went on our way. Then, 20 minutes later they called us to say they had sorted out the fuel and they would drive to wherever we were on the island to change cars. We could not have them doing that after what they had done already so we kept the 2nd car instead. Absolutely the best service we have ever had with a hire car and the price for the week was a bargain as well as with full insurance and no excess. Will use these everytime we visit Lanzarote as we do go there as often as we can. Thanks Anthon and Omnicars

Hands down the easiest car rental we've ever done. We only needed to hire for one day, price was very reasonable at EUR50 for the day including insurance and didn't require a credit card to book. Staff were lovely. Would recommend and use again.

Excellent experience renting a car from these people. Met us from the plane at the Airport and showed us to the car. Didn't ask for deposit on credit card. The best part was they sent back an item to my UK address, unprompted, that we didn't even realise we had left in the car and for which we are incredibly grateful! I don't often write reviews but these people were great and I would definitely use again without hesitation.
