Rented a "small car" for 1 day from our resort branch. Picked up this beauty about 9am. No visual checks required for damage etc. Drove all over the island - the roads are fantastic! Returned to the airport carpark right opposite arrivals at 7pm. Just handed over the keys, again no checks needed, not even if we'd added fuel! EUR41.30 rental, used EUR25 petrol.

Pro's Wide variety Cool little cars (we got a cabriolet) Cheapest car hire i have personally had No weird charges for extending - we loved driving on Lanzarote and ended up renting a car from them for the entire time Drop-off at the airport was easy as can be Local-ish company Offices on literally every corner if u need anything Open untill 19:00 which helped when we made plans to extend. Con's I should have picked the car up when we landed and it would have saved me exaggerated shuttle fees Costs Paid EUR24 pd Cabrio and full insurance Top tip: Pickup from the airport on landing.

Then, he makes me look at the computer (because Im not stupid) and tells me that they are bringing me one right now and that I should let him see the page... I was on the official website of CABRERA MEDINA. And the car appeared... At no time did he apologize to us. He gave us the keys and told us where the car was (on the roundabout in front) Anyway, were going to take it and it turns out that the browser is in Russian . En ningun momento nos pidio disculpas. Nos dio las llaves y nos dijo donde estaba el coche ( en la rotonda de enfrente) Total, vamos a cogerlo y resulta que el navegador esta en ruso . Voy otra vez a donde el majo senor y me dice que esperemos porque el no lo entiende Ahi ya estallo y le digo que la que no lo entiende soy yo, QUE SOY LA QUE PAGO!! Al final, alguien muy amable que pasaba por alli , busco en su movil como cambiar el idioma y lo arreglo .. Total, es una pena. Pero ahora mismo, estoy preparando mi viaje y me acorde de estos problemas . Donde puedo alquilar coche?? Puedo fiarme de esta gente despues de lo del ano pasado??? Lo pensare esta noche .pero igual pruebo otra cosa .. Ese senor no se merece mi atencion. Son muchos anos alquilando con ellos, pero esto me paso en la oficina de Matagorda. A rental worth recommending. The car was sorted out literally in 5 minutes, cash payment with no hidden costs. You pay for the car when you take the keys, you return it with gas and thats all you care about. Its true that you have to buy high-end cars, but e.g. Ibiza or Fiat 500+ ( ;-p ) you get it immediately after showing your driving license. The car (Ibizka) is in working order, clean, smells, slightly scratched, at the beginning I thought that the defects would be on me, but generally they know that such things happen, so I took them back and returned them as well. There are no circuses of taking photos before and after taking the car. Pleasantly cool and I honestly recommend it because I havent seen anything like it in a long time. ***** ***

You can rent a car without a deposit, without a credit card, and the formalities took a maximum of 5 minutes.
