All good, booking great value, to pickup to drop off. We got FULL INSURANCE, good value extra 4e a day I think. Upgraded for free to a bigger C3 Citroen which was clean etc. smaller car we booked wasn't available. RETURNING car instructions should be shared on booking , it's easy when you enter airport from exit 16 off motorway. , see pictures I made - may help others. (TopCar could include return instructions with pics on your booking) Would use these guys again.

Everything went seamlessly. They offer good prices, there were no lines picking up the car, nor handing it ower. The rental office is right in front of the arrival gate, can't miss it! Even with full insurance, they do ask for a deposit, which can be done through a credit card (debit card is not good). The cars can be picked up/ dropped down at the level -2 parking lot of the airport. The staff was very friendly and spoke good English.

Renting a car from TopCar went quite smoothly! The car I initially booked was different from the one I finally received, but the change was harmless - actually, even better for us, as we ended up with a hybrid car. The car was clean and almost new, though I found it unusual to have a back camera instead of parking sensors. Fortunately, the car was very small, so parking was not an issue. The pickup process took a bit longer than expected since only one of the two staff members in the office was available, but the service was very friendly. Dropping off the car was more intuitive, though I had to rely on a random forum to find instructions, as I could not locate any information on the TopCar website. It would be extremely helpful if TopCar shared Google Map pins for the pickup and drop-off locations. Overall, the experience was excellent, and I have no doubt that I will choose to rent a car from TopCar if I decide to visit the Canary Islands again!

Amazing car rental. If you stick to the rules there are no issues at all. We took the car, got the full tank, drove it around the island and once our 6 day trip was completed we returned the company car to the company parking at the airport, gave the key back. Process was smooth, we cleaned the car after our use and refilled the tank. The Italian guy that works at the front desk was amazing and very helpful. Folks that are trashing top car are usually the ones that aren't sticking to the rules, and mostly because they didn't learn at home to clean and take care of their possessions.

I was very satisfied with a booking process, price and with rentall staff as well but we hired car for 14 days which is long time and I got a car with a few problems. Front and rear wipers were in a bad condition. Tires were almost empty and because of that front tires were in very bad condition...

My experience was very good. A bit of a wait when waiting in queue at counter in airport but once seen to it was a good efficient process. Gave ID and signed contract. Collection of car down in car park was very quick. They do not check the car with you, they just hand you the keys, so make sure you take photos and videos of any dents or scratches before you drive off. We got a better car than expected. Drop off at end of use at the same counter in car park was very efficient. No wait time at all. Guy quickly checked over vehicle and checked fuel. Only one Negative I had is that when you give deposit of EUR900 before taking car they actually take this from your payment card, then refund back once car given back. They do NOT do a holding deposit like other car companies. So if you use A card that charges for foreign transaction you will be charged for this deposit.

It was our first time renting a car through TopCar and overall we were impressed. We were delayed when arriving to Gran Canaria Airport which meant there wasn't a queue at the rental desk. The rental process was quick and painful free however the car we initially received really wasn't great at all. If we got a car like this again we would be severely disappointed. We booked a Kodiaq SUV (7Seater) Auto or similar and the car we received was a significantly smaller DFSK 580. The DFSK being smaller meant we nearly couldn't fit our 4 people and 4 cases into the car without having a case on peoples laps. The sat nav didn't work at all the full time we had the car, the sunroof leaked on our first day (we had rain in the morning) and the parcel shelf was broken. The car truly wasn't what I would call "a similar alternative" to a Kodiaq. We rang the roadside assistance which we had to ring 3 times before getting through to someone, they then directed us to our local TopCar in Playa Del Ingles. They came out and looked at the car for 10 minutes or so trying to fix it but when they couldn't agreed to swap us into a Skoda Kodiaq (the same car we originally booked) which was amazing, loads bigger than the DFSK, it had sat nav and Apple carplay to help us navigate the island and we had no problems at all. Dropping the car off was easy enough however the spaces to drop off are limited and having a car of this size, the spaces were tight (luckily I have a larger car at home so I'm used to it) Overall, Providing TopCar keep their fleet to well known brands we would be happy to rent again from them
