Friendly and reliable service across the Canary islands, cheap price for 1 weeks hire. Highly recommend
I have been using this company for years, I think people have to understand the value for money they get with Pluscar, no extra insurance no full tank fuel policy, just good honest car hire, so if you have to wait a little that is the price you pay to save quite a few Euros. Staff are always polite and try their best to look after every guest.
Best services I've ever met. Clear, simple, cheap, all included in base price.
Avoid. Vehicle unfit to be on the road. Claim made to get refund through credit card company as they ignore emails. Mechanically unsafe vehicles at premium rates.
Never make deposit of 150EUR with Credit Card! I dont get it Back. I rented a scooter and handed it over intact and complete. i was guaranteed to get my money. today it was debited. The supervisor from plus car yelled at me that the scooter was broken and hung up. I had great experiences with the service on Grand Canaria, but not on Tenerife. The pluscar employees were nice but the super visor was not. I also sent in pictures that the scooter was really intact. But they don't care My contract Number: Contract 10947 license plates 7707kmm Maybe someone can Help me that i get my deposit Back.
I have used these guys many times over the years, sometimes 4 times a year, and never had a problem, admittedly they are hard to find, and not always there when when you turn up, but a phone call normally sorts it out. Was out there Christmas time and anybody that rents a car off these guys know that you pay when you pick the car car, they write your licence details down, throw your debit card in the machine, they give you a receipt, key to the vehicle and off you go. A couple of weeks after I returned home from my holiday I was looking through my bank statement and noticed that Plus Car had taken an extra PS27 out of my account or the equivalent Euros. I emailed them to find out what it was for and to transfer it back immediately. I heard nothing back and followed it up with another email for them to explain themselves, and again I heard nothing, l sent a 3rd and final email letting them know my disdain for them as a company, and courtesy of a reply won have been appreciated. I also advised that I'd never use their services going forward, and would be using Cicar instead from now on. It wasn't so much the fact that they took my money for no reason when I've already paid, it was the fact that they haven't had the decency to reply to my emails!! Don't know if anybody else has shared the same experience, but just make sure you check your statement if you do use them the following month when you return home. I'll be speaking to my bank on Monday, let them know what has happened, and hopefully the bank will reimburse me. Cheers all
