Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Spartanburg

Enterprise has been the absolute worst experience. My first rental (Black Jeep Cherokee)was infested with roaches. They switched it out with a (White Ford Edge). I never drove it off the lot because I opened the back door and saw roaches. They ended up placing us in a (Grey Ford F150) Everything seemed good until my wife and I went out to dinner, got in the truck and roaches were crawling around. I had to set off a fogger inside the cab. Oh yea, good luck calling them. I tried calling multiple locations and no one will answer the phone.

While making reservation, asked multiple times if a vehicle will be available, was assured there was availability. Gave all info required to book, received email with reservation confirmation. On the day of pickup received a phone call stating no vehicle was available.

1 person at the desk with 8-9 customers. Jesus Christ. Add: Arrived at 3:10 PM. State Farm didn't send over a reservation. I contact them and get it sent in at 4:00 PM. I had to wait until ~5:50 PM for the vehicle to be ready. Never again. Also, why just ONE person at the counter for a good 45 minutes when it's busy? "Staff shortage"? Pay more and hire more people. If you won't hire additional staff, then it should fall on the manager to bring himself/herself in to help out.

Staff will try to charge you $150 so they don't have to vacuum. Guy on staff that we returned the car to goes to great lengths to be lazy. He tried to charge us $150 for some tracked in pet hair claiming it would affect future customers with allergies. I asked if I could just clean the hair and avoid the fee. He told me he no because he "guarantees it won't come out". Well, a quick vacuum and one lint roller purchase later, I returned the car to no fee. I suspect he just REALLY did not want to do his job and vacuum the car. To add insult to injury, there was a live dog in the office when we returned. Please don't take this out on the dog. I just hate hypocrisy and laziness.

Love renting cars here for vacations! They are always quick and easy. The only thing I don't like is the $300 deposit on top of payment. It used to be $150. I think that's a little pricey. You do get it back if the car is in good shape, but still that's money taken away from the trip.

We had an issue with our reservation on the day of pick up. Our reservation was cancelled somehow. We were in a hurry, so we just made a new reservation but with more cost and less days. We called customer service and explained what happened. To our surprise we were refunded the difference from our original reservation and gave a grace period to return our car. We rent cars/SUVs often. We will continue to use Enterprise since we are confident if run into an issue it will be resolved correctly and accurately.

The enterprise on Blackstock Rd, in Spartanburg South Carolina is the best because of the two young ladies that served me well with wonderful attitudes. Thank you so very much Selena and TI. Great respectful young women . The gentleman there who handed me my purse , thanks again. our trip was wonderful. Loved both girl's services pick up and returning. Will use again. Need these young women at the Ashville Highway location in Spartanburg. Amazing.

We arrived a little early for our appointment but were able to speak with Representative pretty quickly. Sarah was very nice and her customer service was great. T.I. acknowledged us as we were waiting for Sarah to return.
