Excellent customer service, cars availability and cars in good condition.
BEWARE. If not from Spain, reservations require an International Driving Permit although it is not mentioned anywhere in the reservation process or in the rental agreement. They will NOT rent you a car without it. Meanwhile Hertz, Eurocar and Sixt, all next door, will rent you one. Do NOT recommend booking with National in Spain.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Spoke English. A significant selection of rental cars. Seamless check-in process. You do need your drivers license, International Drivers License, original credit card used to make the booking and a separate card for a damage deposit. Digital copies of your original contract work. Would suggest taking an Uber or Taxi. Make sure you are at the National parking lot (driver will most likely not want to enter due to ticketing costs).
Excellent service during both pick up and drop off. Staff spoke very clear English and were helpful during each step. Short of having an emerald aisle, this was up to the standard of the best National locations in the US. Hope to have a chance to use again.
