We booked a car, only to be informed at pickup that we must have an international drivers license. We have rented several cars in Spain (even from other Clickrent locations) and our US drivers license was always enough. Do yourself a favour and go across the road to RecordGo. No need for an international drivers license and friendlier service too.
Biggest scam of all time! We booked through an agency with full insurance but then they said we had to pay like 1200EUR deposit and every new customer was surprised by it and was mad about it. They said it's because we booked through an agency but then they shouldn't offer it at the agency if they don't accept the insurance.
On October 10, 2024, my wife and I rented a car from ClickRent to go to Ronda. After driving for about thirty minutes, a low tire pressure signal appeared on the instrument panel. We stopped at a gas station on the way and got out of the car to check the tires. We found that the front right tire was indeed relatively flat, but no puncture was found. We tried to inflate it but the inflator was broken. We also asked the gas station employee to help me check the tires, and he also believed that there was no puncture. We shut down the car and restarted it, and the low tire pressure signal was still there. We also called the car rental company, but gave up because of the artificial voice and language barrier. In this way, we were frightened the whole way. After we arrived in Ronda, we almost didn't care about seeing the scenery or having lunch. We kept thinking about whether we would have a flat tire and not be able to return to Seville. We also tried to find a nearby car repair shop, but unfortunately it happened to be the rest time from 2 to 4 pm. We drove four hours round trip but only stayed for an hour because we were worried about the condition of the car. When we returned to the car rental company at about five o'clock, there was already a receptionist waiting for us in the parking lot. We told the truth about the message on the dashboard, and she actually said in a relaxed manner: It's about pressure. It's OK. My wife and I looked stunned. Where is the OK when there is a signal? If you are not familiar with the meaning of the message, forget it, but I have personally experienced a flat tire and know such a message, so I cannot turn a blind eye. Here's the problem. It's obvious that the service staff already knew about the problem of insufficient tire pressure. Why didn't they deal with it? If you knew there was such a situation from the beginning, why not tell us directly? At least we don't have to worry so much. It is possible that people who have driven this car before have reported insufficient tire pressure, so why didn't I notice this signal when I first started driving? Has it been initialized (which may cause the tire pressure signal to disappear)? A signal of low tire pressure completely ruined the happy mood and trip of my wife and I on our wedding anniversary. Thank you so much ClickRent.
The worst experience I ever had with a rental company. First, unlike every other rental company I've ever used through extensive traveling, this is the only company that obligates you to have an "international license" that they make you pay upfront and of course, there's no notice that you need to do that. And then the best part was when I arrived to return the car there was no one available and I had to wait an extra 30 minutes and then go find the person in the garage who had informed me that they were on their way, but of course they were not doing their job so it's just wasting everyone's time. I understand you want to save money by picking this place because it's cheap but it's a reason why they're cheap.
The car was clean, and in good condition. Pick up was smooth and easy. Best of all was the customer service - Natalia in particular was great; helpful, quick and clear.
It was very easy to rent a vehicle online and go take it in Sevilla. Miriam and Natalia were super nice and helpful. We felt welcome and helped. I totally recommend this company. The vehicle was spot on and it allowed us to go visit the main cities around Sevilla like Cordoba, Granada, Cadiz and even went to Gibraltar. Thank you to click rent team
This was the first place we entered and didnt search any further. Car and the price was great. Natalia spoke English fluently which was a great help. Beside that she was patient with us and answered all our questions (some were not car rental related). She realy helped us out. Next time we visit Seville for sure will come to ClickRent to rent a car. Thank you Natalia!!
We can't say enough about our appreciation for Miriam in helping us today! We needed an international drivers license and she guided us though the process and went beyond the expected service to see that our rental plans would work out. Thanks so much!
