Great service and a great car Maximo helped us out nice and streamline service absolutely no issues would use again.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS We booked a car 3months ahead, arriving for pick up and the manager telling us it's not available as it's still somewhere with clients that have some plans and we would have to wait until they return the car. I asked 3x what does she mean to wait if that's few hours or a week and she was not able to answer and send me to other car rentals, her attitude and customer service was absolutely shocking. Avoid at all costs if you do not want to ruin your holiday from the start as the result for us is a last minute 2.5x more expensive car rental from a different company and a lot of lost time. Their lack of care and organisation is absolutely shocking. Do not even consider renting from Alamo! All 3 next door other car rentals confirmed they deal with Alamo customers and problems on daily basis, as they overbook themselves regularly (Alamo) and they do not even understand how are they possible to operate. The "manager" has no manager skills from the slightest (Alamo train station shop manager), has no shame about poor customer service from herself or her company she represents. She just doesn't care. She was trying to make us leave rather than helping us with the situation they created. Absolute nightmare experience and start of a holiday. Avoid avoid avoid!!!

Thankfully our experience with Alamo car rental went well. Which was not given. We have had to deal with many rental cars, so we try to have the hang of it by now especially with what to expect. We got serviced by Pablo who was an intern. He just showed us the car and said you're ready and good to go... Seemed a bit odd. We had to ask all the following questions : - can we have an extra assurance ? - can we have an extra driver ? - what happens if the car brakes down ? (which had already happened with another car rental before) - what are your fuel policies ? If we hadn't asked, we would never have known.... To all our questions, we got answers but seemed uncertain, and we prayed that nothing would go wrong. We had to insure that the fuel was filled up to the fullest. We had to insist that we wanted full insurance. He told us that the full insurance does not cover the whole car (the top and bottom were not included in the full insurance), which seemed weird given it's a full insurance... > at the end, he wanted a review telling how the welcoming experience went. Well here it is. Anyways, thankfully everything went well in the end. On our way back, we deposited the car. Alexis (another intern) welcomed us. Everything went fast. He checked the car, the fuel. Signed us off. Quick and easy.

Stay away from this car rental business. They rented me a car with a windshield chip. The chip grew into a crack over next few days. I called and emailed them the moment the windshield chip grew bigger with no response from the company.After returning the car they charged my credit card 1400 euro as if I caused the damage. Beware of this business. This is Alamo and Enterprise ran by the same people.

The people working here are the absolute worst. I wish I had read these reviews before booking. We had a similar fate. Arrived 30 minutes after our pick up time with our 8 month old baby. They made us wait for 30 minutes...moved me from one lady to another. Waited while they started and restarted their iPads. Finally 30 minutes later told me I came too late and she needed to check with her manager if she could give me a bigger car. Even had the keys in her hand. Then came back and said no you were late so now you have to wait. Was extremely rude. In the meantime they got into arguments with 2 other customers returning cars and claiming they both had to pay high fees for what the customers had proof was preexisting damanges. When one of the customers started to get angry (rightfully so) they called the cops on him. All of them were terrible - 3 ladies - one staff, one associate manager and the manager. Completely incompetent and argumentative. After I waited another 30 minutes she told me I was rude and so they have cancelled my reservation leaving us stranded. We went next door to avis and got an awesome car and service. All the car rental places next door seem to know how terrible these ladies are! Alamo corporate if you reading this, I would fire all 3 of them immediately!

Worst car rental experience ever. We hav to wait for an hour just to get a car. Staff keeps offering a premium option as our pre-selected model is not ready and needs to be cleaned. A single star is even too high.

If you look on reviews is look like hit or miss. But my experience is 5 stars. From taking the car to handover. Special thanks to Jaime in Seville where we take the car and the girl in Malaga (which name I forgot and I'm sorry for that) who take us through the process of handover so effectively and quickly and with no hassle at all. We had no issues whatsoever with the car or the agency. My sincere recommendation. Reading the reviews, I had some concerns, but after my personal experience, I can only conclude that the people who give poor reviews must be just bad drivers or just people with unreasonable expectations. Once again if you looking for hassle free rent a car, Alamo should be on top of your list (at least in Seville and Malaga)

We had made a booking online and upon arrival found that the car was not available. We were turned away with an excuse and had to rent a car elsewhere at 300% of the price. Apparently this happens more often at this office. My advice is: do not make a booking here where you pay in advance. Or better yet, book somewhere else.
