Beautiful Island - Rent-A-Car & Services in Sao Roque

Renting a car on holidays is always stressful, like a lot, but Beautiful Island made it so simple and apporachable that I can only say: If you visit Sao Miguel island look no further, here you have your solution. We had a misstep with another rental and last minute had to find a substitute car, easily booked a car with insurance in the website, very transparent and secure. My reservation was booked 30min before and for my (pleasant) surprise we arrived there and the car was already ready and clean and the paper work prepared to be signed (of course read everything, but everything was very clear). Helping us, there was Marco from whom I can only say great things, very calm, professional and friendly. Made the entire process even more seamless and we felt even more secure. At any point we felt being deceived or paying more for less. Everything is very well priced and the insurance is not expensive and has great covering, making the holidays stress free.

Really friendly and professional owners at a really good price. Had the pleasure of drinking two beers with the owner. One was a "Welcome to the island!" beer at their facility and the other was a "Well take care of it!" beer. I was renting a Fian Panda e-Hybrid and as components breaking is something that just.. happens here and there.. the Panda's main battery just decided to die. The owner was there within 15 minutes of me calling him, we went for a beer while his son was sourcing the "portable battery charging kit". Once the son arrived, we charged the battery so it could start and I was given the charging kit (just in case). I then told them what I had planed for the next day. The next day while I was surfing, they rung me up, that they were on their way to my location. I quickly came back to the car, a brand new battery was swapped for the old one and I was back in the water within 5 minutes. Nothing but nice things to be said about these guys! Highly recommended!

Excellent experience!! Everything went so smoothly from the online booking process to picking up the car to returning it. My emails were answered so quickly by staff and Marco was excellent at time of pick up and drop off. I hate renting cars in general, because car rental companies have a reputation of milking the customer for every penny they can (legally) earn. My experience with beautiful island was completely different. Good price (sometimes even half of the price what you would pay at airport car rental), and clear conditions. I opted for the gold insurance, as is gave me best coverage for the price. Great car (Opel Corsa), fairly new. All in all a great experience! Book this company if you want great service at a good price!

We rented a car for one week and everything was excellent: pick-up and drop-off service from the airport, great price (cheaper than most websites) and the car they gave us was above our expectations. Definitely recommend.

We rented a small car for a week, and everything great. The car, a Fiat Panda, was almost new. They picked us up at the airport and gave us tips on best places and food. I would recommend them to others. The price was good, and their website is the best on the island.
