Goldcar Oviedo in Santiago del Monte

I was very happy with my Goldcar at Asturias Airport experience. Excellent value and a pleasant team, good quality car and a quick and easy pick up and drop off. Their office is situated a five minute walk from the terminal at the Hotel Arias. All went smoothly so I have no experience of how they handle any problems or complaints if there are any. I had taken out separate, independent excess insurance which didn't cause any issues on collection of the car. The car was given a check over by the agent at the end of the rental, all good and my deposit returned. Goldcar at Asturias Airport would be my first choice next time.

Things really don't work well in this place at Goldcar aeropuerto Asturias. Second time taking a car in here and always repeating to myself NEVER AGAIN. Always people queuing and there's always someone extra to be paid on top. DESASTRE

No problems, friendly staff, car in good condition. Office and parking not in the terminal but 300m walking is OK. Recommed to check location before.

Actually it is not located inside the airport, It is located at hotel parking outside of airport, which u need to walk around 5 min to reach it out, we rent the car online and all went well

Simply the best car rental I wouldnt go elsewhere ... I ve never had any problem with goldcar Staff are excellent and friendly

SCAMMERS DON'T HIRE FROM HERE. ESTAFADORES , EVITA! If you look through this long list of reviews you will see how their scam works, if you don't buy their exorbitant insurance, they 'find' a fault in an obscure part of the car that they don't show you when you pick it up. In my case it was a chip on the windscreen which they seem to do a lot according to the reviews. I've added the licence plate of the car I hired below in case they try to charge you for the same chip. Appalling practice that should be outlawed in a modern society.

Undoubtedly, this business is a SCAM BASED business. Each and every person who profits from this business , puts food on their table through theft. And the endless poor reviews across numerous platforms let's all friends and neighbors of staff know that these staff profit from this scam.... When we collected the car from Santander, it was covered in little scratches, scrapes, cracks etc. We got a member of staff to completely check over the car. We then drove it from 2hours 30 mins and parked it at our extended family home. 3 days later it was then returned to Asterias airport in the exact state we got it (apart from fuel use) The agent at asterias airport then profited from the theft of us by maintaining a new crack was in the windscreen. I drive professionally for a living and I am 100% sure that that car was returned with no additional damage. If this horrible 'Scam based company', Gold Car, continues with attempting to rob us, I will be making weekly reviews across Tripadvisor forums, Facebook Chat groups, Spain info site, yelp, trust pilot, which.co.uk, etc etc How anyone can work in a company that is so clearly involved in scamming and theft is just sickening. Shame in all staff involved in this awful company

I had to wait longer than I wanted to get the car as the line was fairly long and each person takes times to process. That said, later when I had to exchange the car due to rock hitting the windshield, the staff were very fast, friendly and professional which I really appreciated. The same for returning it, it was fast, easy and professional. Thank goodness I got the 'super relax' insurance too as my first car got a cracked windshield from a rock on the highway and in my second car, someone lightly banged into me when it was parked. But due to super relax I didn't have to pay anything. I don't like paying extra for insurance but in this case, I was happy I had it!
