National Car Rental - Aeropuerto de Santiago de Compostela in Santiago de Compostela

Can't speak highly enough of the crew at National Car Rental (especially Marco). Our flight was delayed but the guys waited for us after closing time (otherwise we would spend the night in the airport). Furthermore, my card had been frozen due to suspicious activity but Marco explored every possible avenue to find us a solution, we could not be more appreciative. We have used National many times and have never had any negative experiences, collection and return are always super smooth and friendly (can be hard found these days). Transport from Santiago airport is scarce for late arrivals so the service provided by National makes our journey that bit more stress free. Huge thank you to the team. See you soon.

Just returned a car after 4 days rental. Pick up was smooth, they made sure gas was full. No inspection at all. Upon return the attendant, I think Ester pulled out a flashlight and basically a magnifying glass. I guess because I do t use their insurance they do this. Never happens with Hertz or Avis. Found a small chip by windshield wiper that honestly looks like a speck of dirt. Almost like she knew it was there. "I'll have to charge you EUR60" the car was basically parked for 4 days. Certainly didn't happen with me and never would be found by the usual basic inspection. Be cautious if you risk hiring with them and inspect every detail. Or just go next door to hertz.
