Great service, excellent car and a fair price.
Really happy with Europcar. We got a great car for a bargain price. Both the pick-up and return went very fast. Good service and no hassle with insurance etc.
Without any problems, even we have received our car by one hour earlier, which really helped us. Also returning the car in Malaga was without any issues.
Good service in Santiago apart from the car given to us didn't match group wise what we had reserved with our agent at home. It was a tiny car (Fiat 500). We were told that was what it was, or pay 22 euros more each day for a different car. Please be careful if booking with Europcar. I've booked many hire cars and with the same agent, and this has never happened to me before.
Very disappointed! Be really really careful if you rent a car there. The lady at the reception told us to make photos, and we did it. However no employee is there when you collect the car which is located far away from the reception. There were many scratches and a hole on the front seat. Perfect, we took the car and we kept it all the time in the hotel car park. We went to a wedding and we used it only to go from Santiago to another city. This morning when we brought it back, of course there was the employee who checked the car with a torch and she found scratches UNDER the front part. I am so sorry but who thinks to make videos under the car? Why the employees are not with you when you take the car, but magically they use a torch when you bring it back? I am 100% sure we didn't do any damage to the car, otherwise I would be the first to say it, and I wouldn't write this review . They even told us that the insurance doesn't cover this kind of damage. I strongly recommend another company.
Rented a car end of May for a week's visit to Vigo and surrounding areas. From start to finish, everything was painless....agent at desk was very courteous and advised of all the insurance options, etc. As I collected the car late at night, there was no agent to walk around it and verify any pre-existing damage, but I was again told by the counter agent that I had 24 hours to check and inform Europcar of any additional damage not listed on the provided sheet. Returning the car was a breeze, well sign posted and instructions were clear. I'd recommend Europcar and look forward to using them again.
DON'T RENT A CAR FROM THIS PLACE. This car rental agency in the airport is a pure scam, unless you mistrust them from the very first moment then maybe you are saved. A sad and a short story: i got a car from there (was cheap though) and when i got it back they started checking if there is a teeny-tiny scratch on it. Unfortunately i trusted them and i did not look at the reviews otherwise i would have never gone there (NEVER!). Anyway, aparently this trust was misplaced - i did not check the care carefully when i took it and guess what.. after i got it back a short lady (with glasses) aparently knew that there was a damage in the car and she accused me of causing this damage under the excuse that the agency gives the possibility of 24-hr customer service availability in case there is any damage found in the car just in the first day - you see? So if you check the car in every corner from the beginning, then your life is saved, otherwise they will accuse you that you caused this damage unless you have a clear evidence or a photo that proves that the car already had this damage before you took it. Bullshit and disrespect full of scams and rudeness. Don't go there and waste your time with these people. Never again.
They saved our holidays! Miss Nuria was the best ever! Me and my friend had a problem because our flight to Santiago was on delay, and she was so kind and helped us! We took the car renting it with all inclusive kilometers, very good price, the car was new, comfortable and very clean. Very easy and fast was also to give back the car. Even if the offices are closed you can leave the key into an automatic box at the airport. Perfect!
