Staff all very nice I would prefer pick up and drop of a car at the airport but there courtesy bus was there after 10 min in case no one tells you the pick up is in the Center of the airport parking there is a collection point marked this is where they pick you up after dropping off when returning the car this is where they take you back too both journeys take maximum 5 min

Great company. Booked with car bravo, paid on the day. No messing, no additional fees. Car was not in stock so was upgraded to bigger car for no charge! Cannot fault this company.
The staff were quite friendly. The pick-up and return to the airport was also hassle-free. However, I have two comments, mainly about improving the service: 1. Given that we paid extra in advance to rent a child seat, the staff could have installed the child seat in the car beforehand. When we picked up the car, we literally had to search through a pile of child seats to find a suitable seat, most of which were not cleaned. We then had to install the seat in the car ourselves. 2. The interior of the car smelled quite badly of cigarette smoke, which was very inappropriate for a one and a half year old child.
Goldcar service was excellent and their staff courteous and efficient. The Santander rep Jesus Daniel was a particular standout in assisting us to swap over from a manual to a more suitable automatic vehicle. It made our trip so much easier and a great car to drive!
No problems...small distance from the airport in santander but the goldcar shuttle bus will sort you out.
Excellent Car Hire company with very competitive pricing. Goldcar is based a few minutes away from the Santander airport, but they provide a quick and efficient collection and return service with their minibus. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended..
Booked a car online, EUR208 for 10 days, which is quite reasonable. However when we arrived to the desk at Oviedo, we were told it would be EUR1100 hold on a credit card, or else EUR175 non refundable insurance payment. We went reluctantly with the EUR175 as we thought it was the better option. Then there was a EUR65 fuel deposit on top of that, so now the bill is now well over double what I believed we agreed to, so we were not impressed. We booked a Citroen DS3, which was an offer on their website, and what we were given was a small Fiat 500 with a 1 litre engine. I know cars and they are NOT comparable. If anyone knows Spanish roads, you basically can't get up the motorway hills with the AC on with an engine of that size. I feel like we have been scammed, and I would very much like everyone else reading this not to fall for the same ploy. Read the fine print and make sure you find a better company for the area, and if you're driving anywhere long distance then get a bigger engine car from some other company.
