Good service just by the arrivals gate. No queue and helpful staff member. My only quibble concerns the insurance package I was offered which was expensive. I was not shown a table or chart of the options and suspect I bought something which was unnecessarily 'full' rather than just covering reducing any damages to zero. Return was also very quick and easy.
We were given a free upgrade by Diego to an automatic car which made the whole driving experience much easier. He was very helpful on reception and made us feel at ease with the whole experience. The car was in good condition and had done around 8000km, there were only a few small issues (minor damage) to note down prior to the rental. The only negative was the vehicle had not been valeted properly before the rental began. But overall an excellent service and the deposit was returned very quickly. I would recommend Keddy by Europcar.
Collected and returned to different airports in Spain - a great feature that not all rental companies provide. Also, a simple online check in process, as well as collection and return process.
Got a MG car, could not overtake bicycle because it was uphill. Car would loos speed on smallest incline on highway. The staff was very nice otherwise
The lady at the counter was very helpful. She explained everything in detail. She delivered the vehicle personally, we went over all the previous damage together. We even recorded some additional scratches. I really liked the fact that there is a tape measure on the side of the rental contract, which allows you to measure accurately any damage less than 2 cm or more (because less than 2 cm doesn't count). The Keddy cars have a little more mileage, they were put into service a little longer ago. But this has not affected the drivability and safety of the vehicle. But it was cheaper than renting a brand new Europcar vehicle! :-)
Outrageous customer service... the two ladies in reception said my car size was no longer available as I turned up 2 hours late for my pick up. Original online pirce was 140 euros and they wanted to foece to pay an upgrade of 250 euros on top... never again... btw the car park was full of small cars which I saw when I hired with another company.
I hired a small car for 10 days from Europcar at Santander Airport. The whole experience could hardly have been smoother. The staff speak English, the car was clean, very close by, easy to learn the main controls. Highly recommended.
Europcar are a well respected company that are not in the business to catch you out with additional charges as is often the case with some cheaper rental companies, I guess you get what you pay for. I had a free upgrade to a bigger car, it was totally brilliant and I loved driving it for 2 weeks; now I will consider buying one for myself next year, this could get expensive! Pick up and drop off was quick and painless, just as it always is with Europcar. Overall, highly recommended.
