Extremely unlawful behaviour, upon booking through an agent, registering a card number, could not pay with the indicated visa card on the phone, or other any other card, after discussing for an hour with the desk service, closed the office in our front, lost the booking, money and the car.
Absolutely appalling service - had booked a hire car whilst still in the UK and had received confirmation of the booking. I initially used Enterprise in the first place due to them being a worldwide and reputable company so felt that I was taking a safe and reliable option. When I arrived at the Enterprise office (at Santander train station) on the morning of the collection my booking information, which included my email address and telephone number was sitting on the desk, however I was informed that despite my hire car being confirmed that there actually was not a car there for me! And even though my phone number and email address was there in front of them nobody had had the courtesy to inform me prior to me arriving. They then said that the best they could do was to take me to the airport based office where they would 'hopefully' have a car for me. When I arrived at the airport the Enterprise desk there said they did not have a car and that apparently this is a regular occurrence (be warned!) that they don't have a car available and can't fulfill the booking. I then ended up doing the one thing that I would never do and had to wander around the different car hire companies in the airport arrival hall asking if there was available cars - there was several extremely expensive options and the one that was the least expensive was almost double the price that I had confirmed by pre-booking with Enterprise. When I got back to the UK I phoned Enterprise to complain and was told that someone would get back to me within 5 working days. This did not happen so 9 working days later I phoned back myself to be told that there had been no update. This is another appalling case of poor customer service and lack of communication. I will absolutely never use enterprise again and will be making sure that my friends and family never do either.
We found Enterprise online and compared prices before making our booking with them. Their offices are just outside the train station. We had the best service from Enterprise! The car we had booked wasn't returned by the time we arrived, so they bumped us up with a larger car option at no extra cost. The car itself was in excellent condition. We've rented cars before while travelling and have had some hair raising experiences of fighting with companies over damage that we never caused. The staff at Enterprise were incredibly relaxed and hospitable. Inspection was quick and the documents were emailed to us. Even when handing the car back, all processing was done promptly and efficiently.
Had a really great experience with the company. The cars we clean and safe, but more than anything the people at the office were incredibly helpful and friendly, much more than I've experienced in other rental companies, will definitely use them again!
I asked for a price for a small car for one week in the city office. Very nice customer service. The price was very high at EUR853 for one week. I checked online for a price from the airport for one week. I booked a car for EUR248. One star here for customer service. Bus from Santander to the airport.....EUR4
Both the women we dealt with were so nice and helpful and got everything done very quick. The price was good and we had our car upgraded which was cool too.
Rented with Enterprise a few months ago. When we dropped the car off it was inspected and cleared as it had no damage. Then today I receive a charge to my credit card and email saying I have been charged for repair costs (2 months later). When I called to ask how this was possible as the car was inspected and cleared they put me through about 6 staff at various locations unable to explain to me how this could happen. The document they sent also had some fake codes on it and when the lady on the phone finally found a charge in their system it was for a different amount than what they charged me. So they can't even manage to keep their frauds consistent.
Excellent experience renting from this Enterprise branch. I returned the car with some damage, and was very impressed with the low cost of repairs and the ease of the process. I even had my deposit returned in 24 hours. Thank you to the staff!
