Andre was amazing. There was something wrong with the systems and computers were down, I was really afraid the process would put a wrench in my day, but Andre and his colleague were prompt in creating a solution. They got me out in less time than I imagined and I am very grateful for that. I got the manager's special and the rental exceeded my expectations. Thank you and keep up the good work and positive attitude!
Everything was OK (the car did smell like cigarettes though) until they charged me 2 extra days past when I turned in the car and added other fees. They make it pretty hard to reach anyone by phone but I got thru w/ other menu options. No explanation as to why this happened and they did fix it, but from other reviews, seems like it's standard procedure, catching more revenue from people who don't notice?? They should be reported/sued. Also, don't use a frequent flyer number: they actually charge you to do so. The shuttle drivers were excellent.
I had a amazing beautiful experience! Patrick helped me through the whole process. Which I didn't really understand but he was so helpful! I'm so thankful for Patrick and as well his co-worker, that was with him I didn't catch his name but both where so very helpful!
Had such a wonderful experience! I encountered three young men one was named Andre and he was very rude, thankfully Alan was also there and came to my rescue and helped me out especially being from connecticut Alan was super professional and kind. I would definitely want to encounter Alan again!!! Props to Patrick as well he helped me with my luggage!
I rented a car to be returned at the La Fonda location, but upon arriving discovered it was permanently closed. That isn't this location's fault, but you know what is? Charging me $60+ in airport fees when I didn't choose an airport location and then refusing to refund it. Adding insult to injury, the employees here lied about the other location being closed just recently. There are comments from other upset renters at La Fonda from MONTHS ago for this exact same thing and Hertz is still allowing these closed locations to be chosen online. On top of the extra fee, I was charged two extra days I neither reserved nor used, Uber was charging $40 for a 15 min ride because there are no buses or shuttles from the airport, and a $100 hotel as I hadn't planned on spending the night, but it took the entire evening to figure out what I was supposed to do. Oh, and if you're looking for this place right now, and you can't find them, they aren't here, either. This location is two buildings over and there are no signs. Good luck, everyone.
100% incompetent. I'm a Hertz Gold member, and this is the worst rental experience in 30 years. Rented a car for two days. Returned on time. Location charged me $353 for a $99 rental. Had to dispute charges. Additionally, they did not close the contract after I returned the car, so every day another $100 hold was placed on my credit card. I had to contact Hertz corporate to get it resolved. DO NOT USE!
An abysmal experience yesterday. Although we (and about 15 other people ) all had confirmed reservations, when we landed, Hertz had no cars clean and on-hand to distribute. We waited nearly 3 hours for a car. The office was severely understaffed and completely lacked managerial support. No discounts or apologies were offered. Will never rent with Hertz again.
I can not speak on how great the service is there, have to understand how busy Santa Fe Airport is now. The manager Bernard handles things so professionally and with such respect. Clean cars and great service with such a busy airport cause Santa Fe has grown. Bernards staff is also kind, respectful, professional, and willing to help with any questions. I will continue to rent from this location for the service I'm given and seen people given.
