Not easy to find the pickup point. This should be explained a lot better upfront. Car was good, but they asked for addiitional fees for fuel, which were not agreed before. Also heavy pushing to buy additional insurance, even if they were included via Check 24.
They changed the meeting point but didn't inform me. Also no one is responding on the phone. So I took a taxi from the airport to their office.
The personel is excelent: very kind, attentive and helpful. We rented VW T-cross which was brand new, drove without any complications. I recommend direct renting (we rented by Booking and ended up paying more, also there were missinformation about the correct aeroport pick-up spot). Overall, great car rental company!
Quite unclear on where to collect the shuttle from. Someone wrote previously a different location to where we were directed which was: P1 row 2 and walk 25 metres to meeting place, rang and they confirmed to wait at the 'meeting place': Easy process once at the rental location, kind staff, very straightforward. Brand new car and good price
Unfortunately i do not have a good opinion about this place. The welcome was very nice but I didnt receive all the informations even though i asked specificely. When dropping off the car i asked a few times if everything is ok and was informed that its all fine so i was really surprised when they charged me for cleaning later. Also because i was not informed why they took my money until i started digging. I understand i left some sand and that u charge for extra cleaning, that is fine (altough would be nicer if u told me when i specificely asked about it when taking car and dropping it). What i dont feel fine with is the way it was done. I just suddenly noticed that i am missing money from my account with no communication or nothing like that and it took two phone calls to be informed why they took them. I find it a little bit unclear and if you give the company ur card details then they should be really clear. I do not recommend this company. The car was nice, the people at the office were nice (except of the drop off), the stain is with the complete lack of communication about the charge, i actually felt stolen from, i payed extra charges before and it was never done this way. I feel really sad leaving a bad review but its really unnice to have to ask for explanations cause u just noticed that ur money are missing. Also when taking the car i asked about what i could be charged for and they said that with full insurance, just for the lost key. Im sure it was somewhere in the regulations so i wont do any fight to get my money back, i guess i just shouldnt trust to what workers tell me when asking questions next time:/
OK MOBILITY - NOT JUST BAD - near to EUR500 for scratch on an old car - SO THINK TWICE BEFORE PROBLEMS (and they will come - I bet) As I visited over 70 countries and rented the car in at least 10 of them including the USA, Senegal, India, Iceland or islands as Azores or Mallorca you expect I know stuff and cannot be surprised. Well I obviously can be - and you will be as well: 1) I never saw such pressure on paying insurance and such deposit when no insurance is taken (far over EUR1000 / $1100) ... first mistake? 2) I was asked to check my car before accepting (true) - which means to go through the list of 13 (!!!) listed damages in Spanish only --- if it weren't my old mother 70's celebration I am finished here ... second HUGE mistake. 3) ON RETURN - the woman spent over 20 minutes checking various things like engine check, lights, brakes, gear and then she moved directly to the bumper where she found a few cm crack (viz photo) 4) "You should check the car carefully when taking over. You should check carefully the parts prices and damage conditions before returning" ... Why in hell would I do that? I am expected to be cheating when returning a car? To gain exactly what? Obviously I am. "EUR300 / $330 + administration fee (later I found its EUR60). 5) Since I was never returning the car for more then 5 minutes (sometimes even with no control) and had only one defect in my rental history (damaged mirror on Azores for EUR70) I was in deep shock and wanted to do something. 6) I was advised to call an international help desk (on Sunday afternoon) and make a complain. I was told that I have zero rights on getting any employee identification and if I insist and will not leave - the woman is going to call the police. 7) From the e-mail I found the info later - "any defect up to 3cm is considered no damage" (well you see the photo - no measuring was done). In the huge list - "minor rear bumper damage is not chargeable", "middle damage is for EUR300, severe damage for EUR600". No other conditions. And registered the 14th defect in the car report. 8) ... AND ANOTHER SURPRISE - EUR80 / $88 for an additional cleaning. Of what? The breadcrumbs on the not replaceable mat? Maybe a bit of mud as it was raining full 3 days? Nobody knows. Why I wasn't told in place? Nobody knows (but I can imagine - no photos wanted). 9) The e-mail is from generic "no reply" address - so wish me luck with international complain (where?) 10) THINK TWICE before using the worst service AFAIK - who would say countries like Sierra Leone or Senegal are OK for car rent - and Canary islands are a problem.
Everything went well..will sure use again next time.. service is nice and friendly.
We received a new car, almost 2000km. We did the online check-in so we stayed only 2 minutes, just to pay the small deposit.
