Used CICAR on multiple islands and overall great experience. However a special recognition for this location is needed. While leaving Tenerife I left a watch in a car but didn't notice until I was on a ferry leaving the island. The staff here tried running through the port to bring it over to me, but sadly it was too late as we were already pulling out of port. However, they were able to work with a courier service and I received the watch in Gran Canaria in only 1 day. Thank you so much!

Brilliant company. I hired one of their cars for the week when I visited Tenerife. The car was clean and quite new, and unlike other car hire companies I've used, fully comp insurance comes as standard, and there's no massive deposit to pay. You simply pay for the cost of hiring the vehicle, plus any fuel that's in the tank, upfront. Because you pay for any fuel before you leave, you don't have to worry about making sure the tank is full before you return it. Also if you take it back with more fuel than you started with, they will give you a refund to cover that cost. Staff were friendly and spoke English, and theres a branch at each airport, so couldn't be easier to pick up and drop off. I highly recommend. It cost me PS175 ish for a four door petrol car (can't remember the make sorry), for 7days of rental.

They do a fine job. I used the one by the cruise terminal not the airport. It is a short 1 km walk from the center, follow the blue line over the footbridge from Plaza de Espana. An evening pickup at 7 pm feels like you have more time. You get an hour grace period to return the car. But they close at 8 pm. Ask for the free CD. The CD player is in the glove compartment.

Bad experience, I highly recommend renting the car from another agency, there is one opposite. 1. The prices are not at all in line with the prices of the same company, the rental of the car for one day cost around 80 euros when in the other islands of the archipelago the price was around 40 euros per day (opel corsa the car); 2. The car was without floor mats; 3.When the rental contract is signed, the car is usually delivered with a full tank. In our case the car was delivered in reserve and in the rental contract they wrote 3/8 of the tank. 4.When we returned the car there was a young boy who offered us to reimburse part of the costs incurred for the fuel and a woman sent us away saying goodbye several times as if the reimbursement was not necessary. BAD BAD EXPERIENCE P.S. 1 STAR BECAUSE I COULDNT GIVE 0

In this year that I live in Santa Cruz it is the first time that I rent a car from Cicar. We took advantage of the school closures to wander around a bit. Very positive experience, both in booking and in return. I rented an automatic Jeep Compass XTrail hybrid. Fantastic, brand new. Es decir, la trabajadora es usted, la hacemos caso a lo que ella dice, ya que nos lo repitio varias veces y encima dice que hay que tener en cuenta el contrato. Lo que no se fien nunca de esa senora porque esta ENGANANDO a la gente. Teniendo en cuenta que si a todo el mundo le dice un dia mas y la gente le hace caso porque se fian de la trabajadora, que supuestamente es la que sabe, luego van a llegar y te va a cobrar un dia de mas. Lo peor, es que la cosa no queda ahi, es que nosotros habiamos pagado 18 euros en el momento de recoger el coche, y si lo llevabamos con el tanque igual, nos los devolvian, pues ya les digo que no, en el momento de ceder y pagarles el dia para que no quedara una deuda, mi padre le dice que nos tiene que devolver el dinero de la gasolina, ella nos dice que ya la vuelta es esa y para no seguir discutiendo con esa senora tan desagradable nos vamos. A la hora siguiente nos llama y nos dice que hizo la caja y sobraba dinero y que era nuestro (los 18 de gasolina que no nos devolvieron), que fueramos al dia siguiente. Yo que no iba a dejar las cosas ahi fui a buscar mi dinero, ya que ya bastante habia pagado por la equivocacion de esta mujer. Cuando llego me da 1490 , ni siquiera me da los 18 , rezando en la plataforma como que ella me habia dado los 18. Y yo lo que digo es, ?quien me paga a mi el coste de sus equivocaciones o confusiones? Porque no ha sido una confusion con respecto al dia, sino que tambien se confundio en no darme el dinero de la gasolina. O sea que yo no solo he pagado sus confusiones, sino que encima cicar o ustedes me siguen debiendo dinero. Y al final me da igual, el dinero que me deban, me importa mas el trato tan nefasto e injusto que se nos dio por parte de esta senora o senorita llamada IRINA y el tiempo perdido entre el traslado de mi casa y a la oficina, que desgraciadamente no es cerca. Fatal attention from a specific woman. We went on Monday 7/29 in the afternoon and discussed some inconveniences we had had with the rental car and not only did they not listen but they treated us like fools. They did not know how to solve a problem caused by themselves (maintenance notices appeared in the car they gave us) and they made us waste the entire afternoon going to another office (the one at the Reina Sofia airport) in which they solved everything for us in 5 minutes in addition to restore trust in the company. Its incredible how just treatment can stain or enrich the name of a business.
