One of those companies who still care the client has a good time and a good bargain (while still making a profit) we rented a big jeep just to venture montain wide and everything was perfect from minute 1. If you want to rent a car or van in the island, this should be your absolute first choice. Plus, it's a local owned company.

Very good company. We did not have any trouble with them. Everything was smooth. They charge you for the petrol that the car has at the start and they will reimburse you the cost when you return it. Everything was ok with them, quick and easy. I wish every car rental company was like them.

Excellent price and friendly service from Cicar, La Palma Airport. We hired an Opel Astra which ran like a dream, even up the steepest mountain road. First hire car company I've ever used that didn't try to sell me extra insurance, or make a fuss over the slightest scratch. 5-stars all round!

Highly recommended! Very friendly staff, easy rental and reliable when problems arise: our first car made strange noises. At the airport station we were given another car straight away, which served us well for the rest of our stay. The return at the airport was also very uncomplicated. Overall, the fleet looked very new and modern, both cars were just over 3/4 full when handed over.

Very pleasant experience with the company. I booked through the website and all the questions I had were answered very kindly by email. Booking is easy and simple, without deposit or deception. We booked a Peugeot 208 and for 10 days it was our means of transportation on the island. When we arrived at the airport we found their office very easily, we arrived 2 hours earlier than expected and they gave us the car without any problem, we hardly had to wait and they took great care of us. They explained to us where the car was parked and that we had to return the car with the same amount of gasoline. When it comes to returning the car, its super fast and easy. The truth is I didnt think the experience would be so good but in our case everything was luxurious. Very friendly staff, I recommend this car rental company. Reservamos un Peugeot 208 y durante 10 dias fue nuestro medio de transporte en la isla. Cuando llegamos al aeropuerto localizamos muy facil su oficina,llegamos 2 horas antes de lo previsto y nos dieron el coche sin ningun problema, no tuvimos que esperar apenas y nos atendieron super bien. Nos explicaron donde estaba aparcado el coche y que teniamos que devolver el coche con la misma cantidad de gasolina. A la hora de devolver el coche super rapido y sencillo. La verdad no pensaba que la experiencia seria tan buen pero en nuestro caso fue de lujo todo. El personal muy amable recomiendo esta empresa de alquiler de coche. We have often rented a car from Cigar on other islands. So far we have always been satisfied. This time we were unlucky: the vehicle we handed over was dented all around, permanently dirty inside and a size too small for the rental car class we chose and paid for. The tires didnt have enough air pressure, so we had to go to a gas station straight away. There was no instruction manual in the vehicle. During the rental period the key failed completely and we had to sacrifice our vacation time to replace the key battery on site at the airport. The service was bad. So I cant recommend the company any further.

Dieses Mal hatten wir Pech: das ubergebene Fahrzeug war rund herum zerbeult, innen dauerhaft verschmutzt und eher eine Nummer zu klein fur die gewahlte und bezahlte Mietwagenklasse. Die Reifen hatten nicht genug Luftdruck, so dass wir gleich eine Tankstelle ansteuern mussten. Im Fahrzeug lag keine Bedienungsanleitung. Wahrend der Mietzeit fiel der Schlussel komplett aus und wir mussten unsere Urlaubszeit opfern, um vor Ort am Flughafen die Schlusselbatterie auszutauschen. Der Service war schlecht. So kann ich das Unternehmen nicht weiter empfehlen.

The rental company met all our expectations. After landing, renting a car at the airport, which we had not booked in advance, was quick and hassle-free. The company does not require a credit card or deposit, which is rare. The price includes full insurance without damage to yourself (apart from losing the keys and drowning the car in the ocean ) and two drivers. Usually, you have to pay a lot extra for a second driver. The car was clean and fully fueled. We just had to return it with the same fuel level. Returning the car after a week of use was very efficient. We parked in the underground garage and gave the keys at the window at the airport. No one looked at the car or verified the fuel level. For this complete trust in the customer, an additional star is deserved. The cars are in good condition, with some minor wear and tear. The gear stick was slightly worn, but no one should expect new cars from the showroom at the rental store. Great rental, we will definitely use again on other islands. I recommend and thank you.

Very unfortunate. Although we ordered the lowest class of cars, I did not expect that we would receive a car that looks like my grandmothers old car. There were holes in the seats and the air did not work, we called the central office who very kindly put us through the office and hung up the phone on us. Beyond this, they charged us 20 because supposedly 4 years ago we brought the car in late, which Im pretty sure is not true. We paid for it anyway. Yes, it is the cheapest service at La Palma airport but it seems that it is worth paying a little more to have better service. We will not repeat.
