Service na lekke band(en) Toen we met onze gehuurde Panda een lekke band kregen, baalden we enorm. We belden Motoluis en konden direct terecht in San Antonio. Helaas zaten wij in Santa Eulalia. We hadden de keuze: of naar San Antonio rijden kosten band maken dan EUR20 of EUR80 voor de serviceauto ter plaatse. We hadden geen verzekering afgesloten, wat we nu betreurden. Maarja dat is altijd achteraf, eigen schuld. We plaatsten het reservewiel en reden naar San Antonio. Daar werd de band snel gerepareerd met een prop, en we konden binnen 20 minuten weer op weg. Maar de volgende dag stonden we weer lek met dezelfde band. Weer bellen naar Motoluis, waar ze dit oprecht vervelend vonden. Ze probeerden zelfs bij het vliegveld een reservewiel te vinden, maar tevergeefs. Dus reden we opnieuw naar San Antonio, waar ze geen nieuwe band hadden maar ook geen zin hadden om nog een prop te proberen. Tot onze verrassing boden ze ons een geheel andere auto aan - een upgrade van een Fiat Panda naar een luxe Nissan Micra met alle toeters en bellen, zelfs Apple CarPlay. Dat maakte meteen de tegenslag van de lekke banden een stuk draaglijker. Dus ondanks de lekke banden zijn we zijn nog steeds blij en zeer tevreden met Motoluis en raden we deze autoverhuurder op Ibiza dan ook zeker aan!
Service after flat tire(s) When we got a flat tire on our rented Panda, we were very disappointed. We called Motoluis and were able to go straight to San Antonio. Unfortunately we were in Santa Eulalia. We had a choice: either drive to San Antonio and the tire costs would be EUR20 or EUR80 for the on-site service car. We had not taken out insurance, which we now regretted. Well, that's always an afterthought, your own fault. We installed the spare tire and drove to San Antonio. There the tire was quickly repaired with a plug, and we were on our way again within 20 minutes. But the next day we had a flat again with the same tire. Called Motoluis again, where they found this genuinely annoying. They even tried to find a spare tire at the airport, but in vain. So we drove again to San Antonio, where they didn't have a new band but didn't feel like trying another prop. To our surprise, they offered us a completely different car - an upgrade from a Fiat Panda to a luxury Nissan Micra with all the bells and whistles, even Apple CarPlay. That immediately made the setback of the flat tires a lot more bearable. So despite the flat tires, we are still happy and very satisfied with Motoluis and we definitely recommend this car rental company in Ibiza!
Fantastic rental company! Great communication via WhatsApp to keep me updated as to the process and picking up and dropping off the car was super easy. Will definitely use again when back in Ibiza.
We rented a Mini Cabrio for 9 days. (Great car by the way) The proces of picking the car up at P3 was very smooth. And so was the return. Really nice people, good and clear communication en perfect service. Very happy!
I have been booking with Moto Luis for 15 years, this is a family run business and by far the best one in Ibiza, I would not dare rent anywhere else. Most of the island's rent-a-cars are literal scammers., their business model is based on super low cost cars but ripping customers off on the tiniest scratch, sometimes charging them months after the rental was finished. Moto Luis is an honest rental business, and that's saying something on this island!!!
Used twice to rent a Jeep Wrangler. Very friendly service, would for sure recommend them.
**UPDATE** After some mailing and calling, we got our money back. *ORIGINAL REVIEW*Charging us EUR50 extra because they claim that 3/4 of the tank was missing while we returned the car with a full tank. Incredible! We have digital and paper proof for paying a full tank of gas shortly before the car was brought back. We rent cars for our holidays every year. We never experienced something similar!!! Watch out with this company.
After read so many bad stories about the big renting companies in Ibiza, we chose this local company after a tip. Really helpful and fair policy. Especially Cora who helped us wonderful. (Also in Dutch )
Best renting company in ibiza. No queues, no surprises, no multinationals. Friendly and easy going, they take the car to the airport for you. Be aware most of the companies which stay to have an office at the airport basically they have an office 1km away creating an extra harass and making you loose a couple of hours from your trip.
