First Rent a Car - Alquiler de coches San Antonio - Ibiza in Sant Josep de sa Talaia

SCAMMERS. They charge 450EUR saying you broke the vehicle.

We needed a 9 seater vehicle and "First Rent a Car" was called one late evening by our hotel recrption and the staff arrived first thing to take us to the office. Within 20 minutes and only a small additional fee for fully comp insurance and 2 baby seats, we were off on our day out. On return, it was a quick 10-minute vehicle check, and they kindly dropped us back to the hotel. 1/3 cheaper than other hire places would deffo recommend.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The only thing that I experienced as good was the pick-up and drop-off service to the hotel. First of all I received the rental car with an empty tank, so I had to refuel the car immediately. The car itself did not drive well. Especially on the steep roads of Ibiza. When I went to return the car I was spoken to by an uninterested and rude employee. I had to ask to get my deposit back. The guy told me it was transferred to my bank account but until now I did not received anything back yet. This is just pure scam! I do not recommend this company and want to warn people :(

Had a fantastic experience from this place at San Antonio. Jose was so bloody good. Excellent customer service and some great local recommendations. Picked me up from my accomodation. I extended my car hire by a day and nothing was a problem. Highly recommended from my personal experience and will be returning to rent again in August.

I rented a car for a day and the price was same as other rental agencies. The car was in decent condition. The agency was flexible and allowed me to drop the car in a different location in Ibiza during the night at no extra cost. The only inconvenience was that there was only employee in the agency when I rented and you might have to wait a little if there are other customers ahead of you.

AVOID at all costs!! Hired a car here for 2 days. Upon return parked it in the designated parking area (unlit and no CCTV) and posted keys through the door. The next day, we were informed that the car was damaged and we would be charged EUR250 for a scratch on the bumper. This obviously happened overnight in the parking but they would not accept that. Staff were rude and dismissive from the start of the rental.

I hired a moped for 2 days from Firstrentcar. I am a 50 year old woman and was a bit apprehensive as it had been a long time since I'd last been on one. The staff were fantastic from beginning to end, explaining everything to me. I had an absolute amazing time touring all around the island. It was such a great thing to do in the heat, as it was lovely and cool driving along. I saw bits of the island I've never seen before and I've been coming here for 30 years. I was sad when the two days ended! The moped was perfect for what I needed. There are not many petrol stations on the island so make sure you know where they are when you plan your route. I was a bit nervous about taking it back in case I was ripped off for damage I hadn't done, and didn't get my deposit back, as you hear so many horror stories. The reason I went with Firstrentcar is because the reviews were good and I am happy to say I got my deposit back and the staff were lovely. Very friendly, efficient and helpful. I'll definitely be using them again. Would highly recommend.
