Thrifty Rent a Car in Sant Jordi de ses Salines

Shocking experience renting through the Hertz/Thrifty agent at Ibiza Airport. Returned car for agent to inspect the car with ridiculous detail until he found a 2-3cm light scratch that wasn't listed on the documents - which was barely visible so we're pretty sure would have been on the car already. Absolutely no flex and charged us EUR180. End of season customer rip off. Really gutting as have used before with no such issue. Won't ever use again.

My first rent at Thrifty airport was very good. Also the service and car was fine the second time ( return 4.3.2023, 2.30 pm). However, I was charged two days later with 80EUR extra, without any message. At the telefon, the staff told me that is due to a scretch at the mirror, although I did not hit anything there.

I booked it through Chase, and didn't have many issues with the rental car, pretty much just like renting a car in the US. However, customer service could be a little better, a little bit of a wait time, didn't really give me the similar kind of car that I book, and about 10 Euros was deducted from my deposit, which was unexplained.

Excellent service - the man on the desk was friendly, no queue and he greeted me by my first name. Car was basically new, so clean and the staff were great - even gave my daughter a little pack on returning the car! Thank you so much for making the experience so smooth

I ve read a lot about car rentals in Ibiza and was literally terrified of being ripped off. I hold a Greek driving licence which only has Greek characters so had contacted the local office prior to my arrival to see if it will get accepted. Begonia, the manager, answered my query on the phone in good English. I arrived at the airport office and moments later there was a significant queue, this may be something you need to take into conside ration. I also saw the next door rental car having similar long queues so unsderstaffing May be an issue. The car was brand new, and the return process quick and without any unexpected issues, friendly service all around. There was initially a problem with finding my reservation which they turned around quickly. They said they won't charge me any extras in the end, no fuffing about. All in all I would rent again with them without a second thought. Enjoy your holidays

Excellent service! Nice welcome, we could choose the language, English, French or Spanish of course. The car was very clean, it was a Renault Clio. Well maintained. Carplay worked. Traffic signs recognition is also nice to have in a foreign environment. Return was easy, also nice and correct agent.

Very good company! Best at Ibiza airport! I read a lot of reviews about car rentals at Ibiza airport and got seriously scarred. There`s plenty of dodgy dealers over there that promise very cheap price when you book on-line but when you get there you pay double for insurance and other strange charges. But Luckly I have found Thrifty! They`re located at same desk as Hertz. Picking car up took only 10 mins. Very friendly and professional servis - not pushy towards extra insurance, etc. Car was very clean and almost new. I booked it on-line as Renault Captur OR SIMILAR and we got exact model! On return again, lady at the car park was very friendly and professional. Quickly checked the car and wasn`t looking for any silly scratches and dents under the wheels. She even Cancelled my deposit straight away. Probably the best experience with car rental I have ever had. Will definitely use them and ONLY THEM again!

I was deceived by car rental companies multiple times, but luckily not by this one. Professional and friendly service, 10-20 minutes waiting time, was upgraded to a better car for free, received brand new Hyundai with less than 2000km driven. No problems when returning it back (I did wash it before).
