I have just rented a car from this place and had a good time exploring the island. When I picked it up the key fob didn't work (we had to go out of our way to return it and get it fixed which used quite a bit of petrol) and there were a few minor scratches and stains that were not recorded, no-one came with me to look around the vehicle to verify these so I took the pictures as soon as we noticed them. This morning I returned the vehicle and was confronted with a very rude young man who proceeded to tell me that the petrol gauge was one section shorter than when I picked it up (according to his photograph). He then said I could put more petrol in or pay EUR18 off my EUR200 deposit (deposit wasn't mentioned when booking). I didn't agree with him and asked why this wasn't made clear at the beginning of the rental period. I then went to the petrol station and put another EUR10 of petrol in. Upon my return he checked again and deducted EUR18 off the deposit without further explanation, like I was a naughty school boy. I have owned cars for many years and rented from companies all over the world and have never been treated so rudely before. When asking a modern petrol gauge to measure between the digital sections it is relatively inaccurate. The policy everywhere else when renting is full or empty out, full or empty back not a random photograph of a petrol gauge somewhere in-between which is not even shown to the client before leaving with the vehicle. All very distressing and embarrassing when conducted in front of a room of queuing customers and all the employee does is shrug his shoulders and say "I told you". I have requested a refund of my EUR18 at the earliest opportunity as it appears to be a very badly handled breach of car rental contract. I would give zero stars if I could. Avoid.
Rude front man at the desk from the start, was only informed about a 150km limit per day after signing the contract, came back with the car and a bottle of water was opened and had a few drops of water on the front seat, fined us 50 euro for it. (5 minutes on the sun and it would of dried up.) Not recommended, doesn't feel comfortable to drive knowing they might fine you for the smallest details.
The worst car hire ever! They charged us 200 euros and after we delivered the car back they found two small salty stains on the sit( which was common when you go to the beaches. We wanted to clean it immediately but they said they cannot give us a car back to clean it!!!!! They charged us 50 euros for that. So one day cost us 120 euro!!!! Be carefulllll!!!!'n
Hired a car from these guys in San Antonio as we've used them before, once again everything was as it should be not to expensive and no hidden charges. Will use again next year
I had an few questions for the woman who works there and she didn't want to help me.. really nasty person , never go back there ever again.
