Unforgettable Ferrari Experience - A True Luxury Adventure! I recently had the responsibility of helping my boss find a luxury car rental for a business trip in Malaga, and choosing this company was the best decision we could have made! The team was incredibly responsive and accommodating from the moment I reached out. Their professionalism made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The Ferrari was a true masterpiece--its sleek design and powerful engine made the drive along Malaga's coast truly remarkable. After the rental period, the return process was just as seamless. Thanks to this company, my boss's trip was elevated to another level, and I was able to exceed his expectations. I would absolutely recommend this service to anyone looking for a hassle-free, luxury car rental experience in Europe!
Terrible experience while renting a car with European Luxury Services. May 2024 we rented a Lamborghini Huracan STO through ELS (European Luxury Services) in Bologna. Since ELS is only a "Rental car broker " ELS does not provides the cars themselves, but only arranges the rental car owned by another local company. The process prior to rental was pretty smooth and everything seemed well arranged. The rental car was dropped off at our hotel and we used the car 24 hours until pick up the next day at our hotel again. Overnight we reserved a safe spot at our hotel to park the car, avoiding any damages. The pickup was delayed multiple times by the rental company, so awaiting in our hotel room we notice a couple guys circling around the car and touching the car all over. Meeting them downstairs we figured these were the guys pickup up the car. Three local employees, started by pointing out multiple damages, these damages were already exciting upon delivery but they were now trying to blame them on us. Fortunately, I took quite a lot of pictures upon delivery of the car so I could prove our innocence quite easily. Last but not least the pointed out a small stone chip in the windshield. Since the car was dropped off in rainy conditions, the windshield was completely wet while inspecting the car. No attention was given to the windshield whatsoever, and no picture prove of existing stone chip due to wet windshield. We explained that we did not cause any damage to the windshield and had not noticed any stone chips noises during our rental period. It seemed like they understood the situation but did not agree on who to blame. Arriving back in our home country, we received an email of ELS stating that we had caused quite a lot of damages to the car. All damages discussed in bologna with the local employees were now again blamed on our use of the car... Unbelievable! Going back and forward over by emailing and calling the UK ELS office to prove our innocence with pictures and our timeline story. Now days later all the damages discussed on location in Bologna were free of blame again. Too good to be true lasted only a short while, when after 5 days we received a picture of a cracked windshield. ELS together with the local rental company now blamed us for a cracked windshield due to the stone chip noticed on our return of the rental car. No explanation was given and an amount of EUR6300 was deducted from our 10k deposit and leftover send back to our account. Completely shocked by this crazy amount of money and the fact that this is blamed on us, we started a second wave of emailing and calling with ELS and the local rental office in Bologna. ELS now felt the need to appoint to the terms and conditions of their customer service, where it states that they are not responsible or in some way connected to the service of the companies they provide for supplying their rental cars. ELS is now out of the conversation and does not reply to our emails or answers our phone calls anymore... The last resort now was for us to contact the owner of the rental car in Bologna and try to resolve this ridiculous situation of our money being kept for a damage not caused by us and even worse, a cracked windshield not existing upon returning the car after our rental period. Now, 5 months later, we are down the line with a lawyer to get to a fair solution for this criminal behavior of ELS by keeping our money with no funded reason. We will not stop pursuing until a fair solution is achieved. We could not be more disappointed in a company providing "luxury services" than leaving the costumer hang to dry like this. Never rent with ELS!
Responsive team. Great car. We rented our SF90 for a week in Tuscany and it was a great experience. I am not sure who was happier, me or the kids all over Tuscany who cheered as we drove by. We will repeat in the future. We treated the car well and got our full deposit back quickly. It would be cool if they could help coordinate luggage delivery, as the SF90 barely fits a backpack.
There are a few reasons I could see you might be considering Europe Luxury Services' fleet: * You'd miss the fancy car you have back home when on holiday * You want to impress your friend/business contact/romantic interest * You were a car enthusiast at 12 years old (probably a boy) and want to drive the vehicle you had on the poster on your wall * You want the convenience of not having to go to a rental office * You just want to make that vacation extra special In other words, this is not a rational spending choice when conventional car rental services are out there. You are doing this because it will make you happy. I rented a Portofino in summer 2024 as a splash out for a big birthday and was pleased with the results. It's a beautiful car that made my vacation extra special. A few things to know: * The rental rate will depend on how close you will be to their locations but they seemed exceedingly flexible on times and places. You can decide where you want the vehicle delivered and where to have it picked up. In my case I used city center car parks near my hotels in different cities but it may be less stressful to find a more suburban location if you want to get used to the car before driving it in a crowded area. * You'll pay a portion of the rental up front as a deposit (in my case it was about 30%), and the balance a week or two before the rental. * The kilometer allowance at the time of rental was 200km/day with EUR5 for each additional km * A week or so before the rental you'll pay several thousand EURs as a hold and are refunded the amount back less any damage costs and kilometer overages. Per European regulations, liability insurance is part of the rental and my sense is that the hold is proportional to their exposure for vehicle damage with their insurance company. * You may need to do some preparation with your bank ahead of time. They don't take American Express and their credit card processor doesn't necessarily process all Visa or MasterCard cards (the one I planned to use didn't work and my bank couldn't find evidence of an attempted charge) so make sure you have a couple of cards with you with sufficient credit limits, especially if you will already be away from home a week or so before the rental. Debit cards using these networks should work if the payment limit is high enough. * You are (and should be) accountable for cosmetic damage to the vehicle while in your possession. They have high standards for the condition of the vehicle they deliver. * You should allow up to an hour on each end of the rental for the person dropping off and picking up the vehicle to document things. You'll generally communicate with the office via email and your delivery contact via WhatsApp so make sure you have your phone roaming set up if you are not in your home country.
Very positive experience with this company for luxury car rentals. They are professional and a leader in their industry. Highly recommended.
Everything as scheduled, They paid attention to details, adept to my needs, it was a really Taylor made work, sure I'll rent again.
Second time renting a vehicle through ELS for an extended multi country road trip. The second time went much smoother than the first in regards to deposit return which was nice. We somehow scuffed up a wheel on our trip, and they were able to repair it instead of just replacing it for a much higher price which was very nice of them. Overall we enjoyed our rental and didn't have any problems with Laura or her team.
In brief, I'd recommend and I would use again. I hired 2 cars in Italy. I initially liaised with Paul Minter for quoting and tailoring my requirements. He was very prompt and helpful. In fairness, I felt I'd be testing patience as I was a right pain asking lots of questions and chopping and changing locations, timeframes and deliberating on which cars for weeks before a final decision. However he remained professional, prompt and helpful. Laura (the boss) was also reassuring and helpful when finalising contracts and deposits. The 1st car was a Ferrari F8 Spyder delivered to my hotel in Rome, by Thomas, on time. My only niggle is the handover felt rushed and some preexisting damage was not recorded on my handover report (couple of inconspicuous scrapes on skirting and on the wing mirror). This made me feel a bit anxious as to whether I'd be held accountable. I raised it immediately through the WhatsApp communication and email to the office. They did reassure me promptly. Thankfully, they accepted the return to my hotel in Florence, with no fuss. The 2nd car was a Porsche 911 delivered to the same hotel in Florence, on time. This was Mauro from the Milan office, and have to say this chap, although also a quick process, was much more thorough and so I felt reassured. He also collected the car from Venice Airport and was very good with communication and timing. Quick, efficient, flawless service. My deposits were returned promptly. Overall, very pleased. Loved the cars. Great experience. Will use again. Highly recommend. Ignore the idiots leaving unfair bad reviews. I read them all. These cars cost hundreds of thousands. If you're going to damage the car, drive it irresponsibly or not pay your deposit by easily transferable means, then you're creating your own problems.
