changed two cars, and both had problems. In the first car that was given to us, the windshield washer didn't work. In the second car, a few days later, the "service required" light came on. looks like there were problems with the electronics, because sometimes the radio just stopped working on its own, or the headlights turned on. do not recommend.

Booked a car before coming to Tenerife. Process went smooth and quick and we were on our way in no time. Same with returning the car. Just note that they will charge you additionally for fuel inside the car, but if you return the car with the same tank level, they will refund you additional charge. So i do definitely recommend this company and their services! 5/5 from us!

We rented a car from avocat at North Tenerife airport and I have to say that it was by far the best car rental experience I've ever had. From arrival to departure, the staff on hand were quick to serve us with a smile (Jennifer and Sandra) and answer any questions we had. Picking up the vehicle was super fast, cheap, easy and above all stress-free. Insurance is included and the staff reassure us that everything will be simple for your rental. I honestly recommend this company if you're visiting Tenerife, 10/10! bravo!

Best car rental company I have ever experienced. Not only did we get a better vehicle than we requested (Cupra Formentor over an Opel Corsa) but the service, ease of booking, pickup and return was exceptional. Our 7 day rental on Tenerife was excellent. On day 2 we had an oil caution light come on while driving. We stopped and called CICAR, they asked us where we were and they directed us to Port Santiago, one of their 5 offices on the island where the car was quickly checked and oil filled in less than 15 minutes. Our entire experience dealing with CICAR and their friendly staff was excellent. For Tenerife, we recommend an automatic with plenty of power if you plan to explore, the hills are steep and numerous. Well done CICAR! Congratulations to the CICAR team in Tenerife North and Puerto de Santiago. We highly recommend CICAR when visiting the Canary Islands.

I have been renting from CICAR for more than 5 years when I go to Tenerife. I usually do it in Tenerife North. This time I am going to put a slightly negative review and for the attention of CICAR. How is it possible that I pay a good amount for a specific model and when I receive that model I have to exchange it in the south due to screen errors or high mileage for a rental car? They should consider checking the cars well... once they changed my car in the south they gave me another one with 10,000km less than the previous 42,000km and with a chip on the wheel that could be a danger and when I point it out to the staff they tell me that it can also be a meteorite falls from the sky... anyway. You have to get down to business with cars and their maintenance if they are going to stretch mileage!!

Llevo mas de 5 anos alquilando en CICAR cuando voy a Tenerife. Normalmente lo hago en Tenerife Norte. Esta vez voy a poner una resena un poco negativa y para atencion de CICAR. Como es posible que pague una buena pasta por un modelo en concreto y cuando recibo ese modelo tenga que cambiarlo en el sur por los errores de pantalla o el alto kilometraje para un coche de alquiler? Deberian plantearse revisar bien los coches una vez me cambiaron el coche en el sur me dieron otro con 10.000km menos que el anterior 42.000km y con un tajazo en la rueda pudiendo ser un peligro y cuando lo indico al personal me dicen que tambien puede caer un meteorito del cielo en fin. Hay que ponerse las pilas con los coches y el mantenimiento de ellos si se van a estirar de kilometraje!!

Te suelen cobrar un deposito del combustible que le queda al coche, si lo dejas tal cual estaba, te lo reportan, si lo dejas vacio o menor cantidad, lo descuentan. MUy recomendable

Whenever we go to the Islands we rent from Cicar, very good prices and without abuses or charges that you did not expect and you find out when picking up the car by surprises like other companies do that force you to take out insurance. On this occasion and as always, we had reserved a Fiat 500 but what was our surprise that when we went to pick it up they had given us an Abarth, it was a good detail since they did not have the model reserved and they gave us this one. In summary, when renting the agreed price is the final one and with the car fully insured, the only and understandable thing is the fuel deposit, but if you return it the same as when you picked it up, they will return the deposit upon delivery of the car.

Siempre que vamos a las Islas alquilamos en Cicar, precios muy buenos y sin abusos ni cobros que no contabas con ellos y te enteras a la hora de recoger el coche por sorpresas como hacen otras companias que te obligan a sacar seguros. Nosotros en esta ocasion y como siempre, habiamos reservado un Fiat 500 pero cual fue nuestra sorpresa que al ir a recogerlo nos habian dado un Abarth, fue un buen detalle ya que no tenian el modelo reservado y nos dieron este. En resumen al alquilar el precio pactado es el final y con el coche asegurado a todo riesgo, lo unico y comprensible es la fianza del combustible pero si lo devuelves igual que cuando lo recogiste te devuelven la fianza a la entrega del coche.

My experience with cicar Tenerife ended up being a scam. Everything was fine until it was time to deliver the car and they did not refund the amount I had paid in advance for gasoline. I have written to them twice by email and I still have not received a single response.
