We rented a car to be picked up at the Airport Cicar. The CarPlay didn't work, we asked for help, some guy came to see what was happening and was no helpful at all, he blamed it on the cable saying it was not original (it was) and said we should just be fine with using the car's gps he said we could go to Cicar Arrecife to see if they would change the car. We came and it turns out it is supposed to be closed (the airport guy obviously didn't have the intention of helping us in anyway), but the woman in charge didn't not only let us talk to her, she helped us and was SO kind. We will be renting again because of her, because the first experience was disappointing.

Good car rental company on Lanzarote. Have also used on other island. Easy to book and pay on collection. We had quite an old car this time (76k) and it was quite damaged on one side, but did the job. I reported a broken wiper blade on return. I hope they fix it for the next renter. Would use again.

Ordered a car last min, didn't pay a thing till arrived. Arrived after midnight and they still were open even though Google say closed by 11pm. Service so quick and polite - collected my car in 5min and drive off in the night. On return just as quick- dropped off the keys and left fr my flight. Reading other reviews was helpful for returning the car - via arrival route in the car park. Defo use again, lovely little runner - seen most of the island in the 4 days I was there.

Excellent from start to finish. I've used Cicar in both Lanzarote and Fuertaventura and have always had an excellent service. Only negative was the Queues to get the car, but they are obviously very popular. Price was competitive and includes insurance in the price so no sales at the counter. Will definitely use again.

Writing this review when we surpassed the 2 hour queue and what we have left. I have asked at the parking office and they tell me that it is like that on Tuesdays, that many flights arrive. Well, it reinforces personnel, right? There is ONE person serving at a rate of 10-15 minutes per customer. In Gran Canaria they worked great and thats why we repeated but if I had to dedicate 3 or 4 hours of my life to a queue I would have gone to any other company

The best car rental company on the island. Fast, attentive and friendly, without surprises. Initially I rented a Fiat 500X but the radio did not work well, after calling by phone they found the office closest to my location and in less than 15 minutes I had a new car. Without a doubt the best option for car rental on the islands!!

I have never hesitated to rent with Cicar on all the islands, but the experience renting in Lanzarote has left a lot to be desired. They give us the car agreed upon in the reservation, but when we arrive at the parking lot the first impression is not good at all as we find a car with considerable exterior damage, it was missing trim and even with rust due to having lost paint and inside a dirty car with a smell. to humidity that even had coffee stains on the dashboard, sand on the seats/floor and a lot of dust. I guess 72,000km of rental car doesnt help either... We decided to give it a try but damn the moment we didnt ask for a car change: we had to check the tire pressure 3 times since the steering wheel didnt go straight and they lost pressure every two days, the drivers door continually sounded like it was cracking and the engine hybrid was damaged since it neither recharged nor started working. I understand that there is a lot of volume now in August, but less than delivering the cars in correct clean conditions. I do not recommend renting with Cicar in Lanzarote

Nos entregan el coche acordado en la reserva, pero al llegar al parking la primera impresion no es nada buena al encontrarnos un coche con golpes exteriores considerables, le faltaban embellecedores e incluso ya con oxido al haber perdido pintura y por dentro un coche sucio con olor a humedad que tenia hasta manchas de cafe en el salpicadero, arena en asientos/suelo y bastante polvo. Supongo que 72.000km de coche de alquiler tampoco ayudan Decidimos darle una oportunidad pero maldito momento que no pedimos un cambio de coche: tuvimos que revisar la presion de los neumaticos 3 veces ya que el volante no iba recto y perdian presion cada dos dias, la puerta del piloto sonaba continuamente como resquebrajandose y el motor hibrido estaba estropeado ya que ni recargaba ni entraba en funcionamiento. Entiendo que haya mucho volumen ahora en agosto, pero que menos que entregar los coches en condiciones de limpieza correctas. No recomiendo alquilar con Cicar en Lanzarote

We were also surprised that no kilometers or other had to be paid, and it s rare.
