We got a nice car at a reasonable price but the line to their desk at the airport was just insane. We spent 1h 40 min waiting in the line and from other reviews it looks like it's a regular pattern. They should really improve their process or hire more staff.
The car is good, as was the price, but they lose several stars for service. The queue when we arrived was huge, we waited more than an hour, which after a long flight is not pleasant. The queue had doubled in size by the tine we were seen, the wait must have been a couple of hours for some. Most of the other car hire places had short queues and we'll be using them in future.
We had to wait for three hours in the queue before picking up the car. The guy just smiled and said this is normal on a Tuesday, all year long. If it's known they should really add more personnel and do things more efficient. Check-in takes around 10-20 minutes per person (!) and then you don't even receive the key yet.
Great value, quick service. Accessible from the baggage area during the day and from the 'Exit' side on a night. No hidden fees, best booked as far in advance as possible, 24hr cancelation. Easy!
I ordered a car for 9 days with a car seat that was offered on the website. After arriving at the airport in the evening, I was completely surprised by the service this company offers. no car seat is offered, the staff at the parking lot gives me a booster seat for children and claims that this is the only one available. The car is in terrible condition, dirty inside and out. lack of air in the wheels. Does a company that has hundreds of cars care about the safety of passengers, especially children? . In the morning, when it was already light, after examining the car, it turned out that 3 tires were completely damaged and had no tread, and the lamps were broken. I can only conclude that this company does not check the condition of its fleet at all, does not care about the safety of its customers and the quality of services provided, and allows cars on the road that do not meet basic standards such as tires and lighting. below criticism.. I only rent a car because I want to get my family to their destination safely. I do not use taxis because often their driving style is not safe and they never have the right seats. I didn use car so on theday i need go to airport i reported it to the company and got a new car for which I am grateful, but it does not change the fact that they put my family in danger. In my hotel stood many of their cars with similar problems and that is why I add this post so that the company that seems to dominate the market would also take care of such basic matters as the technical condition of the car before they give custumers I advise anyone who rents here to carefully inspect the car so that their vacation does not end in tragedy.
Some people in the Youtube video recommended Cicar as they were very satisfied with them. We went to check review, prices of them and others and they turn out to be the best. Very important for us was that they dont take deposit and we dont have to have a credit card because we dont have it. So we made a reservation for Seat Arona automatic, and when we got to the airport office to pay for the car we got a free upgrade to Cupra Leon ST as in photo (maybe they didnt got the Arona ready or free for us, but who cares). The car was clean and with a full tank. We were very happy to get it and drive it to the whole Lanzarote for 7 days. We just left the car in the parking place were we picked it up. We have washed the car and cleaned it up and fill the tank full. Basically this was a new car with cca 5000 km on it.
Best rental car ever. The excellent price is for full insurance, so no issues to collect the car (waiting time 10 minutes) and to deliver it (waiting time 0 minutes) when you return at the airport: just fill the gasoline tank and give the keys to the office in the car park. Car was a Fiat 500 and we had a lot of fun driving it around the island with the roof top open.
Easy, affordable and hassle free. Full insurance, no deposit, no credit card needed, no milage limitations, full to full tank. I had an issue with my car when I was in Playa Blanca and they gave me a new car in 15 min without any questions. Would recommend to anyone.
