I would be very careful when renting with Europcar in general and Gran Canaria specifically. Take a very detailed video of the car before you drive away and especially when you return the vehicle. They take a deposit which will not be returned for at least 10 days (500E) and can take 3-4 weeks to deduct any damage they may have found (from your card). They send you a letter informing you, but it's sent by post which can take several days to arrive by which time you are timed out on appeal. It's very sharp practice indeed. Use another provider would be my advise.
One day hire of a Clio in Gran Canaria. Very reasonable price, and employee was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and polite. Bit difficult to find a place to park the car to return it when the office was closed, but it seems like there are more caes than parking spaces on a Saturday in Playa Del Ingles!

Audi A1, 3 day holiday rental at very reasonable cost - first class, helpful pickup service. Returned car today at 4.30pm while office shut. Email received confirming return and all OK within 40mins of office reopening. Would definitely use Europcar Maspalomas/Playa del Ingles again.
I booked the car online and everything was fine. The car was nice and no one tried to talk me into an insurance. I returned the car late in the evening and put the keys into a box. I can recommend this car rental. Thank you for your service!
Easy, quick and nice place to rent a car. I booked a car for two days and it was a new car, so perfect to explorer the island. Friendly and quick service.
Car wad slightly smaller than the one I had booked. Opel Corsa provided in lieu of Seat Ibiza.. Interior was clean. Exterior was very dusty. Some scratches and blemishes in bodywork. Not shown or explained to me. Had to walk down the street to find the car. EUR500 deposit to be paid. This should be made clear at point of booking. Customer after me, didn't have any means to pay this deposit... Returning the car was a farce.. Office closed, told to park on the street the night before my rental period ends, as may find it easier to park.. It wasn't easier. No spaces anywhere. So I was up at 6am on the Sunday, and drove up and down the same street for over 90minutes, waiting to find an available space. This was my biggest issue with this rental.
Was told car is over there somewhere,it was over half a kilometer away,not good, the I side of car looked as though it had been wet and not clean, instead of me telling you what was wrong, let me just say it had a full tank of petrol and that's it. Not what I expected from a company such as euro car... very disappointed.
