Excellent car rental company. Very fair prices on cars. Clear directions on how to get to location. Shuttle van was clean and timely picking us up. Staff was so friendly and great to work with. Very clear about prices and charges. Rental car was spotless when we received it and just what we needed. If we are in the area again, will be renting from them again!

After years of mainstream rentals I have finally decided to give Rugged Rentals a try. Picked up the car at their shop using the transfer shuttle from the airport. Returned after hours (hassle free) at their parking lot in SLC where another shuttle was waiting for me. Yes, a little more time consuming than the airport rentals but definitely worth it. Got a nice Wrangler, not the newest, but well maintained (and my trip was long so I didn't mind putting miles on it). The only downside? The car had a lift and 35' wheels, very, very cool, but that made the car also very thirsty! Didn't have any issues in 2K Miles. Well, thanks for the great Service RR, I'll definitely be back renting from you again.

We rented a Jeep Rubicon for our eight day, five state vacation. The Jeep was better than expected. Excellent condition, clean and only 11k mi. We were picked up at the airport via Rugged rental shuttle. They were there to pick us up within 15 minutes of me calling them. Required paperwork for the rental was a breeze. We were in and out in no time at all. Customer service was great at both pick up and drop off. They even threw in a decent hard sided cooler for us to use (free) for the duration of our trip. Rugged rental shuttled us back to an airport hotel after we returned the rental at the end of our trip. The employee that shuttled us to the hotel was a riot. He was knowledgeable about the area and gave us some great tips. I highly recommend Rugged rental in Salt Lake City, Utah.

We rented a 15 passenger van from Rugged Rental for a week and it was a great experience! We took a family vacation to Yellowstone and the van was the perfect way for all of us to ride together. Pickup and drop off was very easy- even though we arrived on a Sunday when the office was closed. They provided us a complimentary cooler too. The van was very new and extremely clean. I highly recommend Rugged Rental!

Absolutely fantastic experience front to back. I rented via Ace Rent a Car (shared business it seems) and everything went super smoothly. Awesome and friendly staff, quick pick up and drop off, and a great ride. I will definitely rent from here again if I'm in the area.

What an amazing rental company! The reservation process was beyond easy. We got the best jeep we could hope for to travel the loveliest 4x4 roads Utah had to offer. It truly made our trip. The check in and out process was a breeze. If you need a high clearance vehicle to roam with out of SLC - this is the place to go.

Customer service was good. Pricing was good. Glad the car, a new Jeep Cherokee, provided was four wheel drive. I did not know it would have a roof rack and was surprised and happy to find it did. Shuttle from airport to rental and rental to shuttle were quick and easy.

Rugged Rental Saves The Day! When my truck was wrecked I needed to find a one ton 4 wheel drive with a gooseneck hitch quickly. Rugged Rental responded quickly and got me hooked up with a Chevy. But there was a couple minor issues with the Chevy so they delivered to me this brand new Dodge. It was a special privilege to put the first thousand miles on such a capable truck. I've used Rugged Rentals before and will definitely use them again.
