Alamo Rent A Car in Salt Lake City

My suggestion is to use the QR code while standing in line at the rental desk! Super quick and efficient! When we got to the lot, Cruz met us there and was a delight! She was professional yet kind and laid back and let us take my dream car off the lot, no questions asked! It was just an overall easy and fun experience. Thanks Cruz and Alamo!

Had completed direct to car form and went to collect a vehicle. Chose one, inserted key to ignition but was unable to extract the key. Asked for help from attendant. He said he didn't know how either. Removed luggage and put in a different car. It was a Mazda 3 with full electronics. Drove fine until I attempted to engage cruise control. Found no steering wheel mounted control to engage cruise. Multiple attempts. Looked up operator manual online and it referred to a "On" button on the steering wheel. None there. Called the 800 number that came in a text. I was told to call the airport instead. I called. Attendant had no information on vehicle. They suggested bringing it back to the airport, or an Enterprise facility. I know there are many makes and models offered by Alamo. I wear a full ankle brace on the right foot and driving without cc causes pain and discomfort. I've been driving for more than 60 years, and haven't found a cruise control yet that I couldn't operate. If I'm confused, perhaps others are as well.

We rented a Mercedes C250 from the SLC airport Alamo. We wanted a SUV to be sure we could get good visibility on our visit to Yellowstone and Grand Teton NPs, but there were no SUVs available so we took the C250. Wow! We were VERY happy with the ride, handling, features and especially the visibility. The rental from Alamo went very smooth, from check-in to checkout. We have and will always stay with Alamo!

Alamo is for now on our rental place in SLC, we opt for the garage pick up...wow 5 minutes, we walk talk with the associate at garage, select our SUV between 5-6 units, a luxury one was available for the same quoted price. Return was easier... just drop the SUV and they charge the refueling later for a competitive rate (we always refuel, just forget). We received a discount for COSTCO and 2nd driver for free.

We rented a car in Salt Lake City and Alamo did a great job for us once again. They always have good deals, great customer service and the choice of vehicles is plenty for my family. Thanks again Alamo for another wonderful experience!

After dealing with a headache renting from Avis/Budget at SLC two years ago, Alamo was night and day different. Their Skip the Line feature was awesome and it was great to self-select the minivan we wanted to rent based on color, seating arrangement, make/model, et. There was absolutely no waiting in line and we were out of the rental car lot in 5 minutes. The car was great. Thank you for making car renting easy!

Super quick and convenient. Didn't have to wait in line and got to choose the vehicle I wanted within the class I paid for. Got my car within 2-3 minutes of arrival. Prices were very fair and also drop off was super easy. They checked for damages within 5 minutes also and was out to go to my terminal. Their process is very efficient in my eyes. Checkout was quick and easy. Staff was friendly and I liked they let you choose what type of vehicle you would like to rent out of any of the available vehicles within the class you rented. The tail lights on the first car I rented did not work. My friends drove behind me at one point plus other vehicles were flashing me to turn on my lights so I stopped and checked the vehicle. I called the next morning and they said they could exchange the car for another one. I was 45 min from the airport but luckily they had a closer location. Changed the vehicle without any issue but when I returned the vehicle, they tried to charge me extra for gas even though when I picked up the vehicle it had just a little over half a tank. When I noticed the extra charges, I showed the person checking me out my screenshot of my fuel gauge and they took off the extra charge.
