Es la segunda vez que por fuerza mayor tengo la necesidad de alquilar un vehiculo por dias puntuales y la verdad tanto en la sucursal de Alcobendas como la de Rivas-Vaciamadrid fueron muy amables y los vehiculos se encontraban en perfectas condiciones, en cuanto a costo no es tan barato, pero creo que vale el servicio desde la recepcion hasta el momento de devolver. Espero que os sirva de algo mi experiencia. Gracias!

When we arrived, we were immediately scammed. We had to pay EUR500 because we arrived 9 minutes late. Nowhere could they provide proof of how they came up with this amount. I called Booking, and they also said this was a scam and illegal. When we refused to pay this amount, they threatened to leave our scout group without a minibus. This threatened to ruin the entire trip. Due to this blackmail, we had no choice but to pay the fee. Once we left, we encountered the next problem: the tire pressure was very low and the engine oil was leaking. Because of this, we couldn't get the vehicle to start as the engine overheated. We had to drive a long way with a broken van to another rental company to pick up the replacement vehicle. When we called this rental company to discuss these problems, they repeatedly hung up on us. We are very dissatisfied and have already lost a lot of money. Our scout group is very affected by this as the camp budget immediately became much smaller.

Mi consejo seria alquilar en otro lugar. El personal fue grosero, desdenoso y poco comunicativo durante la recogida y entrega del vehiculo. Teniamos un alquiler hasta las 15:00 en la reserva online, pero el contrato en si se cambio a las 12:00 sin nuestro conocimiento. Como resultado, nos cobraron un recargo por demora de 100 EUR. Normalmente, entenderiamos este problema si el personal nos hubiera informado amablemente, sin embargo, los hombres que procesaron la devolucion fueron extremadamente groseros al respecto. Parece que el servicio al cliente esta muerto aqui.

My advice would be to rent somewhere else. Staff were rude, dismissive and uncommunicative during vehicle pick up and drop off. We had a rental until 15:00 in the online reservation, but the contract itself was changed to 12:00 without our knowledge. As a result, we were charged a late fee of EUR100. Normally, we would understand this issue if the staff had kindly informed us, however, the men who processed the return were extremely rude about it. It seems like customer service is dead here.

The quality of a company is measured by its behavior when problems or mistakes occur. In our case with OcasionPlus / RentalPlus, the deal was disastrous. I am not going to go into too many details of the events that occurred in the rental of a car (contract number RP/2023/37701), but as a summary: we rented (and paid, I attach details of the invoice) a DIESEL car with this company. The employee confirmed that he was giving us a diesel, but it turned out that it was gasoline. In the contract it put gasoline in another box, but as you can see in the image, it also put diesel (and we also paid a premium for it), so we were given a contradictory contract, without informing us at any time that they were giving us something different from what we asked for and paid for (basic consumer right) and we left totally convinced of taking a diesel. Because of this, we refueled with diesel, which ruined our trip right from the start. The person in charge of the dealership tried at all times to hold us responsible for the error, and although they returned the deposit, we were not provided with a replacement car, nor were we refunded the money paid for the rental, for a car that we only enjoyed twelve hours. At no time was the decision not to return the rent paid justified, they only referred to damages, without justifying the amount or providing any invoice. For our part, we consulted a mechanic and he told us that the damage may not be very high if it is just a matter of cleaning the engine (as it was, as the manager informed us by phone before returning the deposit). So far everything is normal, two parties can disagree, so we tried to have mediation. First with the companys customer service mailbox, email that they completely ignored. Second, through the Consumer Arbitration System, which would guarantee a totally independent criterion. For those who do not know the system, for a conflict to be resolved in arbitration, both parties must accept it, unless the company is a member of the Consumer Arbitration System, in which case the process begins automatically after receiving the claim. In the case at hand, the company, which is not a member, decided to REJECT IT, alluding that we had committed negligence (if that was so, why didnt they accept it so that Consumption could agree with them?). The response document was clearly a template, since it referred to the purchase and sale of vehicles, not rental. In reality, the reasons they give are irrelevant, since if they reject the arbitration what happens is that Consumption does not even start the procedure and the consumer only has the legal route (Superior Court of Justice) left. It is an absolute shame that a company rejects INDEPENDENT arbitration, which has no cost to any of the parties, which leaves people without financial resources completely helpless in the face of this type of abuse. Luckily we do have resources and we will continue our claim through legal channels. By the way, at this point we are still waiting for the return of the diesel bonus that we paid and did not receive. Be very careful with this type of companies that are not adhered to arbitration, because it says a lot about their predisposition to possible conflicts.

La calidad de una empresa se mide por su comportamiento cuando ocurren problemas o equivocos. En nuestro caso con OcasionPlus / RentalPlus, el trato fue desastroso. No voy a entrar en demasiados detalles de los hechos que se dieron en el alquiler de un coche (contrato numero RP/2023/37701), pero a modo de resumen: alquilamos (y pagamos, adjunto detalle de la factura) un coche DIESEL con esta empresa. El empleado nos confirmo que nos entregaba un diesel, pero resulta que era de gasolina. En el contrato ponia gasolina en otra casilla, pero como se ve en la imagen, tambien ponia diesel (y ademas pagamos un plus por ello), por lo que se nos entrego un contrato contradictorio, sin informarnos en ningun momento de que nos estaban dando otra cosa diferente a la que pedimos y pagamos (derecho basico del consumidor) y nosotros nos fuimos totalmente convencidos de llevarnos un diesel. Por culpa de esto, repostamos diesel, lo que arruino nuestro viaje nada mas empezar. La encargada del concesionario trato en todo momento de hacernos responsables a nosotros del error, y aunque nos devolvieron la fianza, ni se nos proporciono un coche de sustitucion, ni se nos devolvio el dinero pagado por el alquiler, por un coche del que solo disfrutamos doce horas. En ningun momento se justifico la decision de no devolver el alquiler pagado, solo aludieron a danos, sin justificar su importe ni proporcionar ninguna factura. Por nuestra parte consultamos a un mecanico y nos dijo que los danos pueden no ser muy elevados si solo se trata de limpiar el motor (como asi fue, segun nos informo la encargada por telefono antes de devolver la fianza). Hasta aqui todo normal, dos partes pueden estar en desacuerdo, por lo que intentamos que hubiera una mediacion. Primero con el buzon de atencion al cliente de la empresa, correo que ignoraron por completo. Segundo, a traves del Sistema Arbitral de Consumo, lo cual garantizaria un criterio totalmente independiente. Para el que no conozca el sistema, para que un conflicto se resuelva en arbitraje, ambas partes deben aceptarlo, a no ser que la empresa este adherida al Sistema Arbitral de Consumo, caso en el que se inicia el proceso de forma automatica tras recibir la reclamacion. En el caso que nos ocupa, la empresa, que no esta adherida, decidio RECHAZARLO, aludiendo que nosotros habiamos cometido una negligencia (si eso era asi, ?por que no lo aceptaron para que Consumo les diera la razon?). El documento de respuesta era claramente una plantilla, ya que aludia a compra-venta de vehiculos, no alquiler. En realidad los motivos que den son irrelevantes, ya que si rechazan el arbitraje lo que ocurre es que Consumo ni inicia el tramite y al consumidor solo le queda la via legal (Tribunal Superior de Justicia). Es una absoluta verguenza que una empresa rechace un arbitraje INDEPENDIENTE, que no tiene coste para ninguna de las partes, lo cual deja a personas sin recursos economicos totalmente desamparadas ante este tipo de abusos. Por suerte nosotros si disponemos de recursos y continuaremos nuestra reclamacion por la via juridica. Por cierto, en este punto aun seguimos esperando la devolucion del plus de diesel que pagamos y no recibimos. Mucho cuidado con este tipo de empresas que no estan adheridas a arbitraje, porque dice mucho de su predisposicion ante posibles conflictos.
