Sixt in Reus

Collection is by meet and greet. There aren't many details when booking but the day before you get an email and a call confirming pickup time. Staff are friendly and process quick. Drop off is the same in reverse. Car was clean and new. Booked as a Ford focus but given an aircross which might struggle to hold big suitcases. Expensive in peak season but comparable to Goldcar who have opaque pricing.

I'm a fan of Sixt and the overall experience was fine but I was surprised to see an extra invoice for tax after vehicle return. I might have missed this in the small print but there seems no good reason for NOT including the amount up front.

Excellent rental experience with Sixt. Will definitely continue to use this company.

Terrible service, the cost was competitive but they have no office in Reus airport. Additionally if you arrive either early or late you cannot contact the office direct. You have to go through the main office. You have to stand at the entrance to the airport with your suitcases hoping someone will come along . Also the same applies when you return the car, it's an absolute nightmare.

Car collection is by meet and greet at Reus Airport as there is no Sixt office. The person from Sixt meeting could have been in Sixt uniform or at least orange to make it easier to find them as instructions were a little imprecise. Once the meeting happened, very professional and clear.

We had read really scary reviews about hiring cars in Reus but we chose Sixt and couldn't fault their service. The car was waiting for us as we arrived, the handover was prompt and the return to the airport was as easy, both guys were polite and smiley and the final confirmation invoice (with no additional charges) arrived within three days of our return) Very many thanks to everyone at Sixt Reus
