Omega Rent a Car - Aeropuerto Fuerteventura in Puerto del Rosario

Scammers! We just came back from our holidays in Fuerteventura and we rented a car for the second time with Omega (first experience was last year and it was a good one) but this time we unfortunately felt very betrayed. We made a reservation for an automatic car, a specific bigger model. But when we picked up the car they gave us a much smaller model. I understand that it says that you might not necessarily get exactly the same car as says on the internet but that entire model/size we had chosen via their website, they apparently did not have on this island. When we mentioned this they said quite rudely that this was it and it was either this small car or nothing. They offered us no alternative or financial compensation...not even a apology. We had no choice at that time and took the car anyway. But what was really disappointing and rude is that when we returned the car by the end of our holiday, we simply received a message via whatsapp afterwards stating that they would debit 100 euros from my account because it had been left 'dirty'. I could not believe it. We had genuinely left only a very small amount of sand behind (exactly how we had returned it last year but then everything was ok). And now the money has simply been deducted from my account and they do not respond to my messages and complaints. A 100 euros!Just 0 response. We are extremely disappointed in how rude they have been this time and are simply extorting money from customers. Very weak bussinesmanagement and just rip offs.

Muy poca profesionalidad, yo creo que se puede hablar de una autentica estafa! Te permiten reservar cuando no tienen ni un coche disponible.... Eso solo puede pasar aqui en Fuerteventura!!! Una verguenza sobre todo si una persona lo necesita para comprar comida, no es que lo quiere!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE They gave us a very worn out tire we had to pump it every day. We informed Omega car rental about this via Whatsapp and they said that they will look into it after we return the car. On our last day the tire was completely flat and it blew out during our drive to the gas station. We stopped the car and called the rental. The lady lied that someone will come to fix the tire in about 3 hours, that was at 10:00 in the morning. She said that we have to stay by the car and can not go anywhere. Then we proceeded to wait 5 and a half hours and called the rental multiple times to ask if we could get a replacement car or a ride to the airport but she refused. She also said in a later call that the help will come at 14:00, but no one came. The lady stopped answering the phone and proceeded to ignore our Whatsapp messages. A Omega car mechanic came at 15:40 only because a kind tourist agent (who drove past us two times and stopped) who knew the Omega car rental workers call them and fought with them to come help us. If it weren't for him we would've been waiting even longer and missed our flight home. We were waiting in the middle of nowhere for half a day with no water or food and the staff ignored our calls and requests for help. We understand that they have a lot of work but 5 and a half hours (with no replacement car/taxi ride to the airport) is unacceptable. We also wrote them an email explaining the situation and demanding a refund for our last day to which they only responded that they will look into it and have been ignoring us ever since. Side note: the positive reviews here do not seem truthful, they were both written on the same day and about a week after this happened (they were probably written by the company to boost their score, since they expected a bad review from us).

Servizio eccellente di primissima qualita, assistenza impeccabile, personale efficiente e competente. Ottime auto pulite e con pochissimi chilometri. Le recensioni negative che ho letto non mi sembrano veritiere, eventualmente non anno compreso le poche regole impartite dal personale al momento del ritiro.

Excelente atencion, no iria a otro lugar, aqui encontre exactamente lo que buscaba al mejor precio. Muchas gracias

ATENCION, ESTAFA. BE CAREFUL, SCAM. ATTENZIONE, TRUFFA Totalmente tercermundistas e impresentables. Jamas habia visto que se desplazaran con un terminal de pagos para formalizar el contrato de alquiler de un vehiculo sobre el maletero. El formulario es el estandar pero no hacen figurar los danos que ya tiene el vehiculo con lo que te tienes que tomar la doble molestia de hacer un buen reportaje de video y fotos antes de ponerte en marcha, y obviamente despues, porque nadie se molesta en recogerte el vehiculo, teniendo que dejar la llave dentro del coche. Ademas de todo la preautorizacion no pudieron devolverla, con lo que se convirtio en un cargo que a dia de hoy estoy esperando a que me devuelvan. ES-TA-FA
