Oasis Rent a Car in Puerto de la Cruz

Pick up at hotel on time, good comunication, good priece, no problems with car.

I recently rented a Fiat Panda from Oasis Rent a Car in Tenerife for a two-day period. Although they had cars available when other companies were fully booked, my experience was somewhat mixed. They were late delivering the car to my hotel, and despite seeing them arrive, they left before I could reach them. After multiple calls, they finally returned to pick me up and take me to the office to collect the car. The condition of the vehicle was below expectations, with some lights out and some parts covered in duct tape. However, the rental rates were reasonable at 40EUR per day. Overall, while I appreciated their availability, the initial inconvenience and condition of the car lead me to rate them 3 stars.

Never again. Price was ok, 30e per day, but everything Else was difficult. I made the reservation by Dream Go & Joy Travel, and thought it is easy that way. At 10.30am they Will bring the Car To me, and I got number for the Oasis, and for the nice lady In Dream Go & Joy Travel. They brought the Car late, and nobody answered the Phone at oasis office that morning. The same continued, In those three days, nobody didn't answered the Phone at the office. I visited there on saturday on their opening hours, and it was closed. I made a deal with the rental guy, that I bring the Car back To their office at 9am, and they don't Come To get it from my hotel. When I bring the Car back, the rental guy was almost angry, beacose their guy was waiting me, and the Car on my hotel. That was bad ending, for a bad renting experience.

NEVER RENT A CAR HERE! This car is delivered almost without petrol. You get an empty tank and you have to return an empty tank. Of course, the staff will not tell you these details in advance - after all, "they do not rent gasoline", as they say in the end. The fuel arrow is all the way to the right so you expect it to be completely filled up according to international rules. As a result, at 2 PM, after driving 40 km, we ran into serious problems on Mount Teide. Neither the central office nor the towing service of OASIS were inaccessible until 4:15 PM, for us, the Mountain Rangers, the Guardia Civil, the staff of a ambulance and a driver from another towing service. In the end, Oasis expected us to wait until 6:00 PM on a deserted, dark and now stone-cold Teide for petrol to be brought. On the urgent advice of both the Mountain Rangers and the ambulance staff, we left the car and had ourselves brought down. The next day, our 2nd day of car rental, no car was delivered to our hotel. Oasis refuses to give us the money back for this second day and indicates that they do not have a car available for later in the week.

Not sure about the poor reviews. Best value in puerto de la cruz. Literally rang at 9AM on a Monday, asked for an auto. Gave an auto VW polo just been cleaned in half an hour to the hotel. Approx EUR90 for 2 days. Parked on the street left keys in hotel reception. No hassle no problems. I struggled to find a good car hire in puerto de la cruz and these guys pulled through.

Very unprofessional management. Dont even consider them.
