I was looking for a decent car for 30 days. Auto Mertens did not appear in the search engine. I accidentally found them on a restaurant page. And that was my luck. All car rental companies wanted at least 1500 euros + warranty. Auto Mertens rented me a Ford Puma in perfect condition (36000 km on board) for less than 700 euros and without asking me for any guarantee (for the month of August 2023). There was a small problem with the child's seat, which they solved immediately. In my opinion, after my experience with Auto Mertens, I think they are the best rental company on the island of Tenerife. I recommend them with the greatest confidence!!!

Thank you for the great offer and the good service. Next time Id be happy to do it again. 2023 While walking in pdlc we came across the Mertens car rental company. The office space is in an apartment building near the Hotel Botanico. Upon request, a small car for 3 days was possible two days later. I took delivery of the car at the agreed time. It was an older Seat Mi, but with perfect technology. The tires and brakes were excellent. The body had a few small injuries, but that didnt bother us. The price for 3 days is unbeatable. The paperwork was completed quickly and in a very friendly manner by the Senora who was present. I was shown the mailbox to return it and that was all. We had a lot of fun with the car and given its size, there were parking spaces everywhere. Next time I will definitely rent a car of the same category there again. Thank you!

Abgegeben habe ich ihn dann auf einem Parkplatz in der Nahe des Buros und den Schlussel in den Briefkasten eingeworfen, fertig. Der Mietwagenpreis fur die drei Tage war sehr gut. Vielen Dank fur das tolle Angebot und den guten Service. Nachstes mal gerne wieder. 2023 Bei einem Spaziergang in pdlc sind wir auf die Autovermietung Mertens gestossen. Der Buroraum befindet sich in einem Apartmenthaus in der Nahe des Hotels Botanico. Auf Nachfrage war ein kleines Auto fur 3 Tage zwei Tage spater moglich. Zum vereinbarten Zeitpunkt habe ich das Auto ubernommen. Es war ein Seat Mi alteren Baujahres, aber mit einwandfreier Technik. Die Reifen und Bremsen waren bestens. Die Karosserie hatte ein paar klein Blessuren, aber das hat uns nicht gestort. Der Preis fur 3 Tage unschlagbar. Der Papierkram wurde von der anwesenden Senora schnellstens und sehr freundlich erledigt. Fur die Ruckgabe wurde mir noch der Briefkasten gezeigt und das war auch schon alles. Wir hatten viel Freude mit dem Auto und bei der Grosse gab es auch uberall Parkplatze. Beim nachsten mal werde ich garantiert dort wieder ein Auto gleicher Kategorie mieten. Vielen Dank!

Absolute recommendation.... rented a Puma for 3 days last week, including fully comprehensive insurance without self-service for 90.00, no hidden costs. Vehicle handover (super punctual) and pickup at the hotel. To make matters worse, I forgot my spare glasses in the car. That wasnt a problem either. A quick email to Alex and his team and I was then able to pick up my glasses at the office. My special thanks again for this. Definitely going back to Auto Mertens on our next vacation to Tenerife.
