We had such a nice time with our Vespa 125! We rent it for a day and we ride it for an island tour with my friend. It was working very well and was in very good condition (plus he gave us brand new helmets) Also the manager was very nice and helpful!! He was speaking french and english as my spanish was bad. We booked it last minute and even if we waited a long time as they had a lot of clients (plus he was alone as his colleague didn't show up that day) we could rent it! Big thank you to their team and professionalism!! We had a lot of fun because of you!
In fairness, I couldn't fault them. The guy on the front desk has a very dry (or appears so) sense of humour. All aspects were properly explained. Car ran fine. EUR67 for a new model Nissan micra, addition EUR20 for insurance. Spent EUR10 on petrol for a days exploration. EUR100 deposit was returned immediately after rechecking the cars condition
Rented a 595 Abarth from them for 3 days. The car was in excellent condition being new this season and only covered 8500km. The premium insurance is also good and gave us piece of mind. A lot of people complain about the wait times due to it being a small office. While we did observe large queue times walking past the branch we collected our keys at 9 when they firsy opened and picked them up straight away. If you go at a more popular time I can see how there can be a delay. Overall would recommend.
This isn't as bad as people are making out on the reviews. I was sceptical but I really needed transport for one day of my holiday as we had something planned and other than hiring at the airport, it felt better to hire it closer to where we were staying. The two staff members in the office work really hard, the office is obviously very busy throughout the day and a line of 3 groups could mean a wait of around 30-40 minutes. But the staff were doing all they could to minimise the wait. Service with a smile is always hard if you're feeling hard done by and are overworked which these two definitely seemed to be. The Jeep we hired was basically brand new and in great condition, drove perfectly and was really fun exploring the Island in it. The return process was relatively simple, there was a wait outside the office due to them being busy again, but a quick once over from the staff and signature from them and myself to say we were happy with the return and all was complete. My advice would be to get there 30-45 minutes before your hire time begins so that you can leave on time. The office deserves 4 stars, for 5 it would be more desks (although not sure how they would fit) for more staff members but other than that every was great. Will use again if we are in the area.
Rented a moped in Portinatx. The staff were pretty unwelcoming and verging on rude. They looked like they really didn't enjoy their job. I guess they are the only car/moped hire in Portinatx now, so they don't have to make an effort. Expect poor service and then you won't be disappointed.
Vehicle in good condition. Cleaned and vacuumed. Office located in the center of Portinatx. Crew was nice, helpful and clarify step by step when asked. Unfortunately work organization is weak. Car booked thru my travel agency's resident on 11 am at hotel reception. Class employee was 30 minutes late - took me from the hotel to their office. I had to wait in the line due to crowd of people. Paperwork and vehicle handover performed as fast as possible but finally I was ready to drive at 12:30... Dear Class company pls hire more people for service and improve rental process to be more smoothly. When your customer have to spend unexpected 50 minutes in the office would be nice to offer a glass of water to drink ...
Not the best experience. We pre booked before our holiday for car collection at 10am. We arrived just before 10am and there was a queue of 3 parties in front and the queue behind began to grow rapidly. The two staff members on shift MK and Maria had very little urgency despite the ever growing queue. We finally managed to get the keys to our car at 11.15, which was very annoying as we made plans to drive to a destination on the island 1 hr away so we lost a lot of time. There was no apology for the long wait and thankfully we were third in line. Even when we returned the car, the level of customer service was minimal and we were just glad to be able to give the keys back and not have to deal with them again. The customer service and their collection process leaves a lot to be desired.
Had to qui for 40 min to hear that we could only rent a car online & only after 24hours... The guy (MK) was alone (which is sad for him), but politeness does not cost extra effort. When I started my question, he said 'no' before I was even able to ask something... We did not rent the car & preferred to pay for a taxi instead of spending one euro with such company!
