We booked them and paid premium on everything to get us to loro parque from playa de las americas there is no direct transport there. They cancelled the car at 8am on the morning our tickers for the park were booked and we now have no way of getting there.
If you have a debit card, not a credit card they will force you to pay extra for their insurance (40EUR) even if you card provides insurance coverage. Infuriating to see rental agencies still use that old scheme to scam you. The car was super noisy when braking which is not reassuring. The previous day I went to Bowico rental (next door), cheaper, no queue et full transparency on the insurance policy.
We are a long term customer renting a car each month and they offer no rewards, discounts or incentives for us. No long term customer appreciation. We turned in our Renault Clio economy car at the end of our term and did not renew it another month. We went to a competitor and saved 150 euros per month for an Audi in a higher class category and we paid much less security deposit!! I would suggest to really research the market prices before choosing Europcar. We won't use them again after this experience and we have used them for many years.
I went with prepaid renting , and all proces was very fast , all the guys from there are very kind , easy to do , the car was clean and nice ( Ford ecosport) , the proces for return it's very fast , practically park up the car down floor and ...that's all...second day refund goes in my account , all perfect , i recomand this place for renting car
Thank you. Fast and efficient service, the ramp up from the underground garage is a bit steep but I think this prepares you for some of the steep roads ahead of your adventures around the island. Well done to the boys in reception and the young chap looking after the cars he was very helpful thank you.
This a good place to rent a car in South Tenerife if not picking from Airport. Quick service, nice guys at office, not forcing (mentioning) about full coverage options ( I didn't pick one). Prices seems to be adequate, got a sub 10k car WV Polo, nice, clean. Only return after hours may be a bit tricky, as have to leave car on a public street so have to find a open, legal place to leave the car. Otherwise good expierence!
Loved this beach. Water was gorgeous and cool. Sunbeds only 12 euros. Cocktails EUR5.50
Had a good experience. Fast and easy pickup, even faster and easier drop off. Cheap rental price, but very high deposit(800eur) if you don't take their insurance, which is fair. Car was almost brand new, just 12k km.
