We rented a car via Sunny Cars, and this was the local rental that would provide our car. There was no need for a credit card, something that seems rather popular on Lanzarote. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We booked for a 4 door car with AC, and got a Hybrid Toyota Corolla. It was clean, in excellent condition, and low kilometres, as well as an automatic. Drove really well, and didn't cost much at all. Very pleased with the local service, no hassle at all!

Cicar is an affordable solution, was attended by Gonzalo and at the begging he was nice said that the model that we had reserved a Peugeot 2008 was not available and he would give us something in that same "category" we said no problem until we received a seat Arona. The seat is nowhere near same category as a Peugeot 2008.after calling him to see if there was something else he became very rude and said "no, we don't have anything else available and I'm not able to confirm anything at the moment if you want you can go to the one in Puerto del Carmen to see if they have what you want but I'm not calling and there is nothing else I can do for you". I found this quiete disturbing and and marking 2 stars for his customer service. Then I called the one in Puerto del Carmen and she told me that the one Seat Arona was a better quality car. And I laughed because that is not true, see the pictures for yourself. No where near is the quality of this car he same as the other.

The worst experience in our stay in the Canary Islands. When we picked up the vehicle we realized that it was completely dirty, we went to the counter to let the person at the counter know, a man of about 50 years old, with gray hair and glasses. He became furious, went to the car, slammed the door loudly and we had to endure comments like were in the Canary Islands (I dont know if hes referring to why they dont clean in the Canary Islands). Finally he exchanged our vehicle for another one that was slightly less dirty but had clearly not been cleaned either. I had never picked up a rental vehicle in such a condition.

Al recoger el vehiculo nos dimos cuenta de que estaba totalmente sucio, fuimos al mostrador para hacertelo saber a la persona que estaba en el mostrador, un hombre de unos 50 anos, con pelo canoso y gafas. Se puso hecho una furia, se dirigio al coche, pego un fuerte portazo y tuvimos que aguantar comentarios como estamos en Canarias (no se si refiriendose a que en canarias no se limpia). Finalmente nos cambio el vehiculo por otro algo menos sucio pero que claramente tampoco habia sido limpiado. Nunca habia recogido un vehiculo de alquiler en un estado igual.
